Zistiam is a powerful member of Axonn's species who has fusion powers.
History[]
Zistiam was a mostly unremarkable member of Axonn's species in an alternate universe. However, he gained access to that reality's Spear of Fusion. He used it to repair a Kanohi Olmak, then leaped dimensions to the Core Universe.
After that, Zistiam did nothing for quite a while, wanting to keep a low profile considering the dangerous nature of the Matoran Universe at the time.
At some point after the Destiny War, Zistiam completed a bizarrely meta experiment which involved fusing the Spear of Fusion to his own body. This gave him power over fusion and fission.
Previous fusions had only included multiple inanimate objects or multiple intelligent beings, so Zistiam was unprepared for the consequences of being fused to an inanimate weapon. He became blind and mute, and lost access to some of the powers that belonged to most members of his species, though a few of them remained.
A mask-maker took pity on Zistiam, seeing that despite all his power, the universally-displaced warrior could not see nor communicate with anyone. This mask-maker crafted a Kanohi Arthron in the shape of a single plate of armor, which allowed Zistiam to find his way around via sonar.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a member of Axonn's species, Zistiam possesses many powers. These include immense strength, the ability to heal others, and the power to fire blasts of energy from his hands. He used to have other powers, but they became unusable after he fused himself to the Spear of Fusion.
Since the Spear of Fusion is now part of him, Zistiam has the same powers as the weapon did. He can fuse, unfuse, split, and re-fuse beings and objects together or apart. Although it is difficult to do, Zistiam can temporarily fuse other things to himself to aid in battle, such as claws or a parasitic Pit squid. Due to the nature of his power and being combined with the Spear of Fusion, Zistiam cannot permanently maintain these connections.
Zistiam wears a Kanohi Arthron, Mask of Sonar, which gives him the power to view his surrounding by sending and receiving waves of sound.
