Zaedra is a Ce-Matoran living on Voya Nui.
History[]
Zaedra, like most Ce-Matoran, was created by the Great Beings and placed on an island within the Matoran Universe, living among other Matoran. She is believed to have been the first Ce-Matoran to be created by the Great Beings after the decision was made to make all Psionics type female following the disaster involving Toa Orde.
At an unspecified point in time, Zaedra became injured and was sent to Karzahni to be repaired. The ruler of Karzahni's repairs were less than adequate however and he subsequently sent Zaedra off to the Southern Continent in order to hide his failure. There she would live among other "repaired" Matoran in the village of Voya Nui. When the Great Cataclysm occurred, Voya Nui broke off from the Southern Continent and shot out of the Matoran Universe, ending up in the seas of Aqua Magna.
A thousand years later, the rogue Dark Hunters known as the Piraka arrived on Voya Nui, claiming to be Toa, and enslaved the Matoran population with Zamor Spheres. Zaedra was among those enslaved and forced into performing labor to satisfy the Piraka's needs. Eventually, Zaedra and the other Matoran were liberated by the Toa Inika. She was then led into the Nui Caves by Axonn as the Toa destroyed the Cord connecting Voya Nui to Mahri Nui, returning it to the Southern Continent where Zaedra once more lived in peace with her friends.
After the Battle of Bara Magna, which saw to the final defeat of Makuta Teridax, Zaedra migrated from the Matoran Universe onto the reformed Spherus Magna.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a Ce-Matoran, Zaedra has natural mental shielding, preventing her mind from being read via telepathy. Older than most Matoran, Zaedra is wiser beyond her years and is often sought for advice by other Matoran.
Mask and Tools[]
Zaedra wore an unknown Kanohi mask prior to being sent to Karzahni. It was subsequently replaced with a powerless Kanohi Akaku.
Upon being "repaired," Zaedra was also armed with a pair of daggers in order to defend herself.
