The Xian Pulse Blaster was a model of weapon, which was used by a number of Vortixx members of the Xian Secret Service in the Matoran Universe.
History[]
Creation[]
Like most forms of harmful technology and weapons, the Xian Pulse Blaster was created in Xia after extensive experimentation on both the Rahkshi Vorahk species and the Kanohi Avsa. The weapon was made standard issue to many members of the Xian Secret Service around 50,000 years ago, though it was later replaced by advanced technology.
Fractures Universe[]
In the Fractures Universe, Xian Pulse Blasters were less popular due to favoritism of more destructive technology in the War against the Brotherhood of Makuta that took place.
Many members of the Order of Mata-Nui and Dark Hunters were issued with such weapons in the war.
Function[]
The standard Xian Pulse Blaster was a long-barrelled weapon capable of firing bursts of purple energy. This energy blast would attack a target's nervous system, reducing them to a vegetative state for several seconds, then draining their strength by mutating their muscles.
