Whekto is a female Toa of Plantlife and member of the Breath of Mata Nui.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Whekto was created as a Bo-Matoran several generations of new Matoran into the flight of the Great Spirit Robot. Her homeland in the Northern Continent had a significant need for new Matoran after a Doom Viper infestation. There was soon a need for new Toa, and Whekto and five other Matoran were chosen to be transformed.
Whekto would go on to protect her homeland for several thousand years, though even as a Toa received the same stigma she had as a Matoran for being her land's only female Bo-Matoran.
Breath of Mata Nui[]
Sometime after the Matoran Civil War, Whekto set out on her own, exploring more of the Northern Continent. She soon met Kwulaguo, a Huwnaui looking to atone for past behaviours. The two of them began talking, and soon decided on creating the Breath of Mata Nui, to heal the universe's wounded with life force collected from the plants Whekto could control. They bought land on the Southern Continent, where they perceived a greater need for their services, and began establishing their facilities and hiring new staff.
Return to Spherus Magna[]
Following the restoration of the planet Spherus Magna, Whekto and the rest of the Breath of Mata Nui were forced to abandon their forests and relocate to the new world. There, they began to establish a new estate to heal those wounded in the Battle of Bara Magna.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a Toa of Plantlife, Whekto can create, control, and absorb plant life. This allows her to sprout plants all around and manipulate them to suit her needs. Like her colleagues Toa Aritauk and Domiu, Whekto uses her elemental powers to enrich the environment of the Breath of Mata Nui's land, stimulating all plant growth so that its life force can be harvested and put to good use.
