The Kanohi Waiya was the Mask of Attraction. When activated, it allowed its user to generate an immense pull between themselves and objects. The user could freely choose which objects were and weren't attracted. While there were no size limitations, the usual laws of inertia still applied: attracting massive objects would invariably move only the user, while attracting very light objects, unless they were anchored, would barely move the user.
The mask was known for its versatility. By practicing and using its abilities intelligently, one could do a variety of things:
- Anchor themselves to floors, walls and ceilings
- Achieve propulsion by attracting themself to high up, immovable objects
- Prevent being disarmed by attracting their weapons to their body
- Accrete material such as gravel or sand to their body to act as rudimentary armor
