Vyleck is a corrupt Toa of Fire from Ido Nui.
History[]
Originally a Ta-Matoran, Vyleck was chosen by the then Turaga of Ido Nui to become a Toa, along with the Fe-Matoran Chiron. However, within days he had become an outsider within his team. After only a few months, he killed a fellow Toa in a fit of fury, and went into a self-imposed exile.
He quickly came to the attention of the Brotherhood of Makuta, who recruited him and used him to kill other Toa in secret, across the Matoran Universe.
Vyleck later escaped from the Matoran Universe and appeared to reform. Along with Gali and Pohatu he participated in the Battle of Bara Magna and wiped out half a legion of Skakdi. The battle ended with a victory, Teridax was killed and Spherus Magna was reformed. Vyleck then migrated onto the surface of Spherus Magna and is attempting to find the remaining Toa Ido to make peace with them.
Abilities and Traits[]
Vyleck was a master of the element of fire, though he mainly relied on his mask and Toa tools in battle.
Though he has a sadistic side, Vyleck is still good at heart, which he showed during the Battle of Bara Magna. How he will react to the new society on Spherus Magna remains to be seen.
Mask and Tools[]
Vyleck wears a Kanohi Kakama, the Great Mask of Speed. His Lava Hooks can extend and retract like a harpoon, and are completely impervious to heat; no amount of lava can destroy them. These hooks were not his original Toa weapons, and were created on Destral.
Trivia[]
- As a Matoran, Vyleck used to wish he was a Bo-Matoran. It is ironic, then, that the Toa he killed in a rage was a Toa of the Green.
