The Kanohi Vorpin was the Mask of Stress. When activated, it amplified the user's strength and vigor relative to the amount of physical and mental stress they were experiencing. The mask did not negate any of the effects of stress on the user's mind and body. Although it had the potential to strengthen its user more than that of a Pakari, the required amount of stress threatened the user's health.

Although not considered outright immoral, the Vorpin was a greatly unpopular mask among Toa. Many believed a Toa shouldn’t seek out or expect external sources of immense mental and physical stress, which tended to result from lives being at stake. Nonetheless, some insisted on wearing it, finding comfort in its usefulness as a "last resort" should an encounter turn south.

Trivia

• The Vorpin's title and abilities were inspired by the song "Stress" by Justice, the same song which serves as Wreshi's theme song.
• The mask was originally titled the Mask of Touch, and allowed its user to telekinetically move objects they touched with greater force and precision than a Matatu. Chondrya later changed this, as she wanted Wreshi's mask to have more of a mental component to it like many of the Toa Powais' masks.
• Anyone is free to include this mask in their pages and creative works, and add to this page's Wearers section.
