- "Veuy did not muster a word. He only closed his eyes and suddenly the room felt unnaturally cold. It wasn't long until Kapokhed could see arcane energy pulsating around Veuy's small body. The power permeated the room, swirling with vigor and elegance. It was beautiful to behold, and Kapokhed knelt, finally acknowledging the authority of his host."

Veuy is an Alpha Being and current Emir of his species.
History[]
Veuy, like most Alpha Beings, hails from the region of Takiw Nui. Diligently climbing the ranks, he garnered recognition within the inner circle of Vavakx, ultimately earning the distinction of being considered a close confidant and dear friend by him.
Remarkably, Veuy assumed the role of Chronicler for the Alpha Beings, using his innate shapeshifting abilities to covertly bear witness to momentous events throughout the universe. He documented many crucial occurrences, such as the journey undertaken by Toa Jovan's team during the Great Disruption, as well as the Great Rescue operation in the city of Metru Nui.
During the occupation of Metru Nui by the Visorak horde, Veuy, cunningly disguised as a Rahi, found himself ensnared by the horde. Luckily, the Rahaga, renowned protectors of Rahi creatures, came to his aid, rescuing him alongside other captured creatures. Grateful for their courageous intervention, Veuy drew inspiration from the Rahaga, subsequently adopting their appearance as his own.
In the millennia that followed, amidst the Destiny War, Veuy embarked on a clandestine sojourn to Karda Nui, documenting the Siege of Karda Nui and covertly sabotaging some of the Makuta's assaults on the Av-Matoran populace. Like many others, Veuy was temporarily blinded by the bright light that radiated when Matoro resurrected Mata Nui from death. However, he swiftly regained his sight, employing his shapeshifting abilities to restore his eyes. This profound event served as a catalyst, unlocking Veuy's connection to the ethereal spirit realm, as he perceived the "echoes" reverberating when Mata Nui's essence returned from the realm of the deceased.
Subsequent to the arrival of the Toa Nuva, Veuy left the universe core to relay his findings. Unyielding in the face of the Reign of Shadows, Veuy emerged as a survivor. Following Teridax's death, he made the exodus to the new world of Spherus Magna.
The Invasion[]
In the tumultuous period of The Invasion, as the Chorak attacked the population of Metru Magna, Veuy sought refuge within the confines of the designated sanctuary known as the Spherus Magna Refuge. To aid the displaced populace, Veuy communed with the spirit of the last known bearer of the fabled Mask of Wishes, drawing upon its wisdom to assist the refugees.
Ultimately, the conflict ended, culminating in the triumphant return of Veuy and his compatriots to Metru Magna.
Defunction[]
A millenia later, Veuy found himself entrusted with safeguarding Metru Magna, while the Council President, Turaga Tahu, embarked on a mission to the southern realm of Xianori alongside Vavakx and Deriahk.
In a fateful turn of events, Veuy was approached by Kapokhed, who asked for his aid in unraveling a mysterious series of Matoran murders plaguing his village. Veuy accompanied Kapokhed to the village, meticulously examining the lifeless bodies. His analysis led him to a disconcerting conclusion: the souls of the fallen Matoran had been devoured by an insidious perpetrator.
Turaga Kryehk, the leader of the village, presented Veuy with a dagger discovered amidst the remains — a relic known as the Dagger of Space, one of the Entropy Relics. Seeking counsel, Veuy turned to an historian, Morvax, who identified the artifact and its history.
Veuy and Kryehk embarked on a quest to retrieve all the relics, hoping to solve the mystery. However, their endeavor was abruptly interrupted when the village fell under an assault by a creature named Boparok. In this dire moment, Veuy's silent companion, Peduik, revealed himself to help in the battle. However, Boparok overwhelmed them, stealing the second relic — the Gem of Destiny — from Kapokhed.
Driven by a suspicion that Boparok had sought refuge within the forest, Veuy sought Makuta Zakkond, who was well-versed in the terrain. The group departed from the village, eventually rendezvousing with Zakkond at his long-abandoned abode — a cavern of shadowed mysteries.
Venturing into the cave, the group encountered a disturbing sight — more Matoran bodies strewn across the floor. Seeking answers, Veuy entered a trance-like state, establishing a connection with the soul of one of the fallen Matoran. Upon emerging from his ethereal communion, Veuy discovered his companions under assault by Boparok. Amidst the chaos, Kryehk's astonishing revelation unfolded — an act of betrayal, as she revealed herself as none other than Makuta Pakark in disguise.
With their treacherous foe seizing the relics and disappearing from sight, Veuy and the others were left to grapple with the deception. However, Boparok revealed the truth — Pakark planned to harness the combined power of the relics and the Kanohi Gebuk to shatter the very fabric of the cosmos, constructing a new reality in his image.
Returning to Metru Magna, Veuy arrived to witness the grim spectacle of Pakark opening a portal to the Spiritual Dimension, using Turaga Kryehk as a sacrifice. Veuy then pursued the Makuta into the dimension, engaging him in a cataclysmic clash. Pakark, fueled by the power of the Kanohi Gebuk, sought to unleash destruction upon reality itself, compelling Veuy to take drastic action. In a courageous act, he shattered the mask, thwarting Pakark's plans. Defeated, the Makuta submitted to capture, while Veuy emerged triumphant.
Old Grievances[]
A year later, the dormant Alpha Spear stirred from its slumber, signifying the return of Mersny — the original Emir of the Alpha Beings. Veuy received the urgent summons from Vavakx, prompting a meeting to devise a countermeasure. Recognizing Mersny's intent on obliterating Vavakx and all who stood in his path, the city of Metru Magna was placed on high alert.
Taking a stand beside Vavakx, Veuy retreated to the secure confines of an underground bunker. Yet, within three days of the Alpha Spear's reactivation, Mersny emerged from the shadows, accompanied by a nightmarish legion of abominations. Relentlessly carving a path of destruction toward the bunker, Mersny left nothing but ruin in his wake. Standing firm against the onslaught, Veuy and Vavakx found allies in the form of Manauhk, Deriahk, and a reformed Pakark — now a Makuta of Light. Manauhk swiftly teleported Vavakx and Deriahk to safety, leaving Veuy and Pakark to aid any survivors to escape.
Harnessing Pakark's illusory powers, Veuy guided survivors, concealing them from Mersny. However, the facade shattered when Pakark, caught off guard, fell victim to an attack, dispelling his illusions and exposing the group. In a selfless act of sacrifice, Veuy offered himself as a diversion, granting the others a chance to escape.
Imprisoning Veuy atop a towering edifice within Metru Magna, Mersny awaited the inevitable arrival of Vavakx, who ventured into the heart of the city to save his brother. As the fateful confrontation unfolded, Vavakx confronted Mersny in a legendary clash, each combatant harnessing their powers, weapons, and combat skills. The battle reached its zenith as Mersny unleashed a devastating magnetic wave, intent on obliterating Veuy. Yet, in an act of heroism, Vavakx intervened, halting the onslaught by conjuring a spatial loop — an inescapable prison enfolding both Alpha Beings.
Aware that their fates were intertwined within the loop, Vavakx bid a final telepathic farewell to Veuy, anointing him as his successor. Helpless, Veuy could only bear witness as the loop compressed upon both combatants, erasing them from existence.
The following day, Veuy orchestrated a commemorative event in Metru Magna, a grand homage celebrating the life and achievements of Vavakx. Dignitaries from across the planet convened to pay their respects, while Veuy, in a profoundly significant ceremony, assumed the mantle as the Emir of the Alpha Beings. Adorned with armor and a mask crafted from protochromium, his new appearance symbolized his ascendance to the distinguished position.
Rebellion[]
A few years later, a pair of Bukgu infiltrated the Great Depot underground of the Spherus Magna Council Headquarters in Metru Magna and stole the Kanohi Ignika. Faced with mounting suspicions that Canrum, the Bukgu leader and Archon of the kingdom of Xianori, may be implicated, Veuy and Council President Tahu resolved to undertake an investigative expedition to the realm. Accompanying them on their journey were Isale, the representative of the Bukgu within the Council, and Nugru, a Toa who had been present during the theft.
Embarking on Tahu's personal vessel, the group strategized, assigning Nugru to spearhead the investigation while the remaining members proceeded to meet Canrum. Nugru disembarked discreetly, while the others alighted in the kingdom and were received by Canrum.
Inquiring about the theft of the Kanohi Ignika, Tahu pressed Canrum for information. The Archon assured them of his ignorance about the situation. Undeterred, Veuy and Tahu persisted for information, probing Canrum regarding the conditions in Xianori's impoverished sectors. Canrum revealed that his subjects had begun to question his authority, drawing inspiration from Kapokhed's history. Blaming the President for hailing Kapokhed as a hero, tensions escalated as the leaders exchanged insults.
Seizing the opportunity, Veuy discreetly left the room, attempting to contact Nugru. Abruptly, a Chorak attacked him and incapacitated him. Upon regaining consciousness, Veuy found himself in the presence of Deriahk, who revealed the impending catastrophe that loomed over Xianori: the marginalized Bukgu population, weary of their plight, had initiated a rebellion to assassinate the ruling elite. Moreover, Isale's involvement as one of the leaders, willing to exploit the Kanohi Ignika to execute the Archon and the President, was exposed. Intrigued by Deriahk's cause, the Chorak allied themselves with him in a bid to prevent the impending carnage.
Veuy promptly alerted Tahu's crew, ensuring they stood prepared to evacuate from Xianori. Thus, the rebellion was officially ignited, plunging the streets into chaos and bloodshed. Concurrently, Isale made an attempt on Canrum and Tahu's lives. Veuy tried to stop her, but Isale, driven by desperation, prepared to unleash the power of the Kanohi Ignika upon all. Nonetheless, Nugru and a newfound ally named Diguxx arrived and halted Isale's insidious plot.
Converging with Deriahk, the group confronted the true mastermind behind the rebellion — Kapokhed. Despite Deriahk's efforts to reason with him, Kapokhed clung to his plans, choosing to engage in battle. A clash ensued between Nugru and Kapokhed, while Deriahk summoned the aid of his Chorak allies to contain the rebellion.
Amidst the struggle, the Chorak Queen, Lixis, arrived at the scene. She convinced Kapokhed to yield, but an unexpected manifestation occurred — the essence of the Kanohi Gebuk within Kapokhed surged forth, endangering Lixis's life. Stepping valiantly between Kapokhed and the Queen, Deriahk sacrificed himself, succumbing to a fatal blow.
Harnessing their combined abilities, Diguxx and Veuy managed to extract the essence of the Mask of Wishes from Kapokhed, freeing him from its influence. Puzzled by the survival of the Kanohi Gebuk, considering Veuy had recently destroyed it, Diguxx theorized that the mask had managed to endure by exploiting its connection with Kapokhed, subsequently distorting his desire to aid his people.
Driven by the conviction to obliterate the mask, Veuy clashed with Diguxx, who, harboring a desire to preserve its power, vehemently refused. In the ensuing argument, Diguxx fled with the mask.
Canrum, grateful for the resolution of the rebellion, expressed his intention to govern with increased severity, aiming to prevent the recurrence of such conflicts. Outraged by the Archon's proclamation, Nugru killed Canrum, ending his reign. The Toa then made his escape, leaving behind a memory crystal.
Upon his return to Metru Magna, Veuy perused the contents of the memory crystal, uncovering evidence of corruption within the Spherus Magna Council. Contemplating whether to disclose this information, Veuy found himself in doubt, but finally, Peduik appeared to convince him to do so. The revelation resulted in many Council Senators resigning or being arrested for their crimes. This also led to Tahu being removed from his post as President, with Turaga Koved taking office later.
Because of the scandal, Veuy decided to renounce the Council and to separate the Alpha Beings from the unified society. Without them, Metru Magna lost much of its power.
Veuy finally left Metru Magna and returned to the New Takiw Nui, where he spent a lot of time meditating in solitude.
Abilities and Traits[]
Veuy, known for his resourcefulness, strict demeanor, and enigmatic nature, is widely regarded as the wisest among the Alpha Beings. He consistently offered practical counsel to Vavakx, aiding in the organization and management of his life. With a deep-rooted sense of tradition and responsibility, Veuy possesses unwavering convictions.
Despite his profound wisdom and spiritual connection, Veuy's focus remains grounded in the practical affairs of the world. He demonstrated his commitment to the well-being of the people of Spherus Magna by his will to sacrifice the legendary masks of Life and Wishes, even though Diguxx emphasized the significance of preserving their power.
Exuding an air of authority and dignity, Veuy naturally assumed the mantle of Emir following Vavakx's demise, swiftly adapting to his new role.
