Versuvian, also nicknamed Mersion, is an ancient and archaic language used by the Mersion race within the Matoran Universe. It originally developed on the island of Versuva during their earlier years. The language is separate from the one generally employed by the Matoran, and the Mersions mainly used it to speak to one another. Though once spoken regularly, Versuvian has since become a dead language ever since the Mersions opened their borders for trade, and has since been replaced largely by the Matoran dialect. Despite this, it is still studied and used by those willing to preserve it.
Versuvian mainly consists of a sophisticated combination of ancient Matoran words, a complicated series of hand gestures, facial expressions, and other bizarre words.
