Personality[]
As a Matoran, Verrnec was brave and selfless, constantly working to aid and protect his fellow villagers. He was awed and inspired by Toa, and his greatest desire was to be able to protect his fellow villagers like the Toa.
After his transformation into a Toa, Verrnec's personality remained almost exactly the same, and he worked hard to become an exemplary Toa. During the Abyssal War, Verrnec became one of the most recognized figures in the war effort, and became an inspiration to the soldiers under his command, and a capable strategist.
After the deaths of his teammates in the final battle of the Abyssal war, Verrnec abruptly rejected his former life and, blaming himself for his teammates' deaths, began to suffer from severe nightmares and depression. However, soon after the destruction of the Sentinels of Light's base, Verrnec resolved to make an attempt to learn from his previous mistakes and to try to make a difference in the world.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a Ta-Matoran, Verrnec possessed inactive fire powers that manifested themselves as a resistance to fire and high temperatures. He wielded a small sword fashioned from scraps of metal.
After Verrnec's transformation into a Toa of Fire, he gained a near-perfect control over the Element of Fire. He was able to launch fireballs, create walls and cages of flame, and ignite his sword, wreathing it in flame.
As a Toa, Verrnec wielded a large, single-edged sword, after his first double-edged blade broke, and a round, saw-bladed shield. He wore the Kanohi Matatu, the Mask of Telekinesis, in the shape of a Great Kakama, which allowed him to move objects visible to him with his mind.
