One day, Venarax was walking through the sands when he saw a meteor crash in the desert, and attacked the newly arrived Mata Nui by pouncing on him, and he tried to hit him, but when their masks touched, Venarax evolved into a normal Glatorian Vorox, just like he was before he devolved. He then joined Mata Nui and rode to Vulcanus with him and Metus. He later watched as Ackar battled Strakk and how Strakk lost. He then journeyed to Tajun with Strakk, Ackar, Kiina, and Mata Nui. However, they were attacked by Telluris riding the Skopio XV-1. He then gave Mata Nui his stinger tail, and Mata Nui transformed it into a sword and then distracted the Skopio and then jumped on one of its legs and rode up to the controls and then knocked Telluris out, and then used the controls to fire at some attacking Bone Hunters. Telluris then woke up, and grabbed Mata Nui and threw him up to an above arch made of rock. Mata Nui then used his sword to make the arch collapse, and then he jumped at the end of the arch and landed on a rock path on the other side. The rest of the group drove and made it through, but the Bone Hunters, the Skopio XV-1, and Telluris were trapped on the other side of the rubble. They then reached a smoldering Tajun, and found Gresh, who joined the group, and then they found Berix in a secret cavern near Tajun. They then headed for Tesara, where Mata Nui split up with the group after Kiina and Berix were captured by Metus, Skrall, and Bone Hunters, and Mata Nui went to battle Tuma and won, then he met up with the rest of the group, and then Mata Nui turned Metus into a snake and they won the battle, and they got into a ship and flew to the Matoran Universe in the ship, and then they met the Toa, and their weapons got elemental powers later. Venarax is currently travelling with the group to stop Teridax.
