Yeah, so I just brought an old meme to the fore. I know that's lame. I'm old. I'm like, seventeen. Gimme a break.
Anyhoo. I just finished the long-overdue revision of the fourth chapter of Island of Power. I have to say, I had fun. It was a nice journey down memory lane, and it wasn't completely painful to read my old material, especially since I was beginning to finally get competent at the time I wrote the original version. I was, however, a bit random and non-linear in my focus, so I had to clean up my various scene changes. I also greatly extended one scene, making the chapter as a whole better (In my opinion) and more completely developing the character of Fajaku at the same time.
It needed it. I thank Providence for giving me the ability to make such revisions.
So, now I will continue on with writing new material in Land of War.
BY THE WAY HEADS UP Over the past year or so, I have begun the preliminary work on a new, non-BIONICLE story. I won't be truly done with it for several years, but if any of you wish to read some of my draft material, I could arrange that. The new story is called Terra Duenuo (Latin for Second Earth) and will by a hybrid science-fiction-superhero-good-versus-evil-alien-invasion-and-lots-of-other-stuff kind of deal. If any of you is interested, I wrote the first three chapters because I had them on my mind and wanted to get them down. I could arrange for them to be readable if anyone wishes to. (Argh has already read them)
In the meantime, however, please read the fourth chapter of Island of Power! I hope you do enjoy it, and would appreciate any feedback on the second-to-last chapter of my first book, if you are so inclined to oblige me.
Thanks, you people!
