New MOCs: 01

Wassup folks? It's BobTheDoctor here with my first New MOCs page.

Background

Here I am to announce what the hell this actually is. :P Well, basically, I've had a strange creative streak lately and I've been making tonnes of MOCs.

But rather than wait until the end of the month to add them to my Monthly Updates - which everyone seems to love :P - I've decided to take a different approach. What I've been finding when I combine new creations with news is that people don't read the news and comment on the MOCs instead, which is good but can be quite annoying if I want a community opinion or if I want to announce some important news.

So I'm going to split them apart. From now on I'm going to do New MOCs blogs for my new creations and leave the updates with info. However, I'll release the New MOCs blog a couple of days before then use some of the pictures for my blog updates, so it's not all blocks of text. :D

New MOCs

So, without further waffle, I'm going to present some awesome new MOCs! :D

Rahkshi of Chain Lightning

Well, a couple of weeks ago, in my December Update, I introduced M1's Spotlight, where I gave a couple of mentions to users who had caught my attention that month. In that spotlight, I mentioned User:DankoTheVincent's Kanrahk creation, which I said had inspired me to create my own modern-Rahkshi creation. Now, while I can't show the character until his debut in Judgement Day later this year, I can show my take on a Rahkshi, which was massively inspired by DankoTheVincent's creation.
Seriously, all credit for the design should go to him. The only reason I'm making this is to create popularity for a user who I think is well-deserving of credit for his MOCing abilities. :D

Rahkshi of Chain Lightning, A non-fanon creation that probably won't appear in my story or anywhere else, but I just really wanted to make this. :D	Full credit for the build should be given to DankoTheVincent.	Able to manipulate and focus bursts of Electrical Energy, the Rahkshi of Chain Lightning is a formidable foe, a dangerous enemy of Toa and Matoran everywhere.	Armed with a Staff of Chain Lightning, the Rahkshi is capable of Flight and resistance to electrical shocks.

Hollian

Now, as some of you will have noticed, I haven't released a lot about my newest story Over Your Shoulder and a lot of the information I have given is either intentionally sketchy or misleading. :P
But one thing that I can say for certain is that there will be a brand new female lead, a Vortixx. Now, she won't be Tollubo's love interest but she will have... how should I put this... well... she's a prostitute :S
Yep, I've given hints about exploring a darker, more sinister side of BIONICLE fan fiction but I've never actually confirmed sexual content... not that there will be much, I mean it IS a kids story. :P
Basically, Hollian works in a casino as a "dancer" and the Cult of Darkness wants her dead for some reason. Why? I'm afraid you're going to have to wait for that answer. :P But I've really softened her job down. As residents of the Matoran Universe cannot reproduce, sexual content would be impossible, so that's good. :P But, as I want this story to convey an element of 'evil' that is not about bad-guys and Makuta, I might as well introduce some element of the exploitation of women.
Hey, if I had my way and wasn't restricted by my moral obligation to protect the innocent minds of children, Hollian would be a full-blown prostitute. :S

Hollian, A generic female Vortixx who fled to Metru-Nui during the War against the Brotherhood and found herself being persecuted my the prejudices of Matoran society. Unable to get a job as a scholar or a mechanic, Hollian was forced into a seedy occupation as a "dancer" in a particularly sordid casino, owned by a Skakdi named Thok.	Unlike what her job title would suggest, Hollian is actually a pretty shy and coy character. She lives a quiet life, out alone in the rural reaches of Onu-Metru.	But all that's about to change. The Cult of Darkness has been picking off Vortixx around her casino and she's next in line. Will Toa Tollubo be able to get to her in time to save her life? Or will Hollian have given her last dance? Find out in Spring 2012...

And, of course, I'm hardly going to give Tollubo an identical form. Oh no. The whole white and gold thing is too conspicuous, especially now the Cult has split up and he's the top of their hit list.
Now Tollubo only uses fake names. Plus he changes his color scheme and Kanohi every time he goes out. And you can say "Goodbye Light Sword" because that's gone out the window too. :P

Toa Tollubo, Well, it looks like he's back, and he's more dangerous than ever before. Tollubo is no longer honor-bound by duty, unity or destiny. He has completley denounced the three virtues, lost faith in Mata Nui and given in to all kinds of temptation.	Tollubo has become soemthing of an alcoholic and a womanizer, spending most of his time in the brothel-like taverns of the Vortixx-areas of Onu-Metru, taking advantage of the female refugees.	With no limits and no regrets, Tollubo is all spurred-up and ready to throw himself back into action. But now that he will sacrifice his life for the safety of any innocent Matoran makes him wonder what is actually worth living for if he cannot find peace.	Armed with an Photon Bolt Launcher and a Kanohi Suletu, Tollubo is determined to track down the final few members of the Cult of Darkness to rid the Fractures Universe of its rebels. He's already lost one universe, he'll be damned if he lets another one fall to a similar fate...

Varis

Varis, A Matoran of Plamsa who is an assassin.	At this moment in time, I don't have a lot of ideas for him, but I'm open to suggestions. At the moment, I'm thinking of featuring him at the end of 'Frozen Calling' but, like I said, I've not exactly set anything in stone.	At this point, it should probably be noted that the design for his weapons was not mine. Credit for that should be attributed to Brickshelf User:555907 and his gun designs.	However, I haven't exactly asked for permission to use these, hence Varis won't play a massive role if I do use him, but I just really wanted to build a pair of these awesome weapons for myself. So any comments on "how awesome the weapons are on Varis" will, unfortunately, be something that will make me feel guilty. Congratulate the user who came up with them, not me. :P

Shadow Tollubo

And, of course, last but not least, My revamp of my Tollubo (Fractures Alternate Universe) creation. :D

Shadow Tollubo, Well, I really can't say much about the return of Tollubo's counterpart, other than the fact that "he will make one at some point in the future."	But I am able to point out that he will have donned a cape, his claw-like-weapon will have changed, and that his will carry a small sub-machine gun, which he will use to kill one of the story's main characters...	The gun itself is actually a fairly old design of mine, one that I made a couple of years ago and gave to a 'Ga-Matoran inventor' character who I could never find feet for and eventually scrapped. But, of course, it has been adapted to fit a greater purpose in my story.	Another thing that my agent will allow me to say is that the Fractures Tollubo is rumored to make his reappearance in Vendetta, where he will supposedly kill Agitarahk. However, this has not been confirmed and I can't say whether or not it's a load of Muaka-bile until the story is posted. >:D.
