Tyro is a Bone Hunter on Bara Magna.
History[]
Information on Tyro's past is sketchy at best. It is said that he was raised in a nomadic clan of Bone Hunters in the east before striking out on his own, making his way west. Eventually he joined the Bone Hunter clan nearest to the city of Atero, where he quickly rose through the ranks to achieve a position of some importance.
At some point after this, Tyro made a deal with the agori Berix to purchase a small, unidentified item on the Tesera promenade, but was double crossed and thrown out the window, injuring himself in the fall. Though the deal was technically completed, Tyro determined he would hunt down Berix to get revenge and to determine who Berix was acting for.
He currently wanders the wilds of Bara Magna, collecting seemingly unrelated trinkets and bits of information. His goal is known only to him, and the privileged (or cursed, depending on who you talk to) few that know of his existence know better than to ask.
Personality and Traits[]
Tyro is calculating and logical, always at least one step ahead of his adversaries. His schemes are never grand, yet nothing he does is without purpose. Once he has set his mind to something, only logical evidence that it is unreasonable or not necessary will stop him. He is a man on a mission, though few know what this mission is.
He views his fellow Bone Hunters with scorn, seeing them as aimless and undisciplined. He believes they waste their talents pillaging and raiding for petty rewards. For these reasons he refuses to associate with them, though some might say this is simply his way of asserting his superiority over them by making his exile voluntary instead of forced.
Abilities and Equipment[]
Being a Bone Hunter, Tyro has a greater resistance to heat and the sun. His skeleton is metallic, making it much harder for him to sustain severe internal injuries. He also has a special ocular implants that act as an inner eyelid to keep the sand out of his eyes. Tyro can pass for a normal agori if properly concealed under a cloak, but he possess greater strength, agility and senses than the race of villagers.
He carries a variety of equipment with him on his Rock Steed, but has his stolen Glatorian sword and Thornax Launcher on him at all times. He also wears a cloak while in agori villages to avoid detection by the local authorities.
