History[]
Tuyet was created by Mata Nui during the early years of the Matoran Universe's existence. As a Matoran, she lived on the island of Destral amongst a community of Matoran for a majority of her life. She gained a reputation for favoring her solitude and being reclusive.
In the aftermath of the Great Disruption, Tuyet was eventually chosen to became a Toa, being transformed under unknown circumstances.
At some point, Tuyet learned about a powerful artifact called the Nui Stone, which could potentially enhance its user. Desiring the stone for herself, she broke into the place where it was held at and stole it, then took it with her when she was summoned to Metru Nui. However, the Dark Hunters were after the Nui Stone as well and followed her, eventually arriving at her homeland after she had left.
In Metru Nui, Tuyet joined with ten other Toa to fight the Kanohi Dragon at Turaga Dume's behest. The battle lasted one month, and they eventually defeated the Kanohi Dragon. The team delivered it to Xia, giving the Rahi to Roodaka when they arrived. The Toa returned to Metru Nui and became the city's eleven guardians, the Toa Mangai.
After defeating the Kanohi Dragon, many of the other Toa left to do various missions, leaving Tuyet, Lhikan, and Nidhiki stationed on Metru Nui. Around 2,500 years later, Tuyet realized that the Dark Hunters were looking for her, and began killing Matoran. She framed the Dark Hunters for the murders, telling Toa Lhikan and Nidhiki to go out and stop them. She continued killing Matoran in an attempt to ruse them. However, Lhikan eventually discovered her treachery and went out of his way to stop her. Tuyet tried using the Nui Stone in an attempt to escape Lhikan, but Lhikan prevailed with assistance from Nidhiki and was defeated. After the fight, Lhikan blasted the Nui Stone to pieces, and the majority of its scattered fragments were embedded in her armor. She was soon after locked up in the Coliseum while Dume and Lhikan debated on what to do with her.
Sometime later, Tuyet would repair the Nui Stone and months later, managed to escape imprisonment and go into hiding. The disgraced Toa of Water then began plotting revenge against Lhikan for besting her.
A century later, sometime after Kuurk's Empire was formed, Tuyet re-emerged from hiding and attacked the organization's fortress, alerting Kuurk to her intrusion. The two then encountered and fought against each other in a one on one fight which soon ended when Kuurk used his Plasma powers to damage the Nui Stone, resulting in an explosion which knocked Tuyet unconscious.
After defeating Tuyet, she was imprisoned again, and after being informed that the Nui Stone was destroyed, she attempted to lunge at Kuurk, but was pinned down by him. Kuurk then lobotomized her to ensure that she would never again pose a threat and to make the insane Toa of Water rethink her life again.
Tuyet was transferred along with the other imprisoned criminals over to the superplanet of Helvean
Abilities and Traits[]
As a Toa of Water, Tuyet can control, create, or absorb water.
Tuyet was mentally unstable, and had a warped view of Toa ethics. she saw it as her duty to protect the Matoran from any and all existing threats, and that any lives lost in the process were all for the greater good. She was willing to break the Toa Code and kill her enemies, as well as innocent Matoran, even if she believed it would ultimately create a safer world.
After being lobotomized by Kuurk however, Tuyet began to truly regret her past actions.
