Tren Krom is an ancient fully organic being created by the Great Beings, older than the likes of Artakha, Karzahni, and Mata Nui. He is known to be an immensely powerful being, but was initially regarded as a myth by many.

History[]
Tren Krom was initially created by the Great Beings and placed in Karda Nui to temporarily run the Matoran Universe while they finished their work. Tren Krom saw himself as having birthed a world of order, although he was also responsible for monstrous creations that could later be found on the Tren Krom Peninsula. Once Mata Nui was created, Tren Krom was no longer needed, and was approached by an Av-Matoran Toa Canister builder who informed him that his job was complete. Afterwards, Tren Krom was removed from the universe core and sealed away by the Great Beings, who permanently fused him to an island.
The Brotherhood of Makuta once wished to seek out Tren Krom to ensure he was not a threat to them. Makuta Mutran was chosen to go to his island and investigate. When he arrived, Mutran was confronted by Tren Krom, who then merged minds to search through Mutran's thoughts. As a result, Mutran learned not only what Tren Krom truly was, but also how the universe worked. Afterwards, he fell unconscious, but when he awoke, he realized he had the key to aiding Teridax in potentially overthrowing the Great Spirit. Unfortunately for him, his plan never came to fruition, as both him and Teridax were killed during the attempted coup by Ardak and his team.
Over a century later, around the time Kuurk's Empire was about to move its headquarters over to the superplanet of Helvean, Kuurk reluctantly thought it would be a good idea to repurpose Tren Krom as the planet's new core, as the original one had fizzled out eons ago. The robot Overlord soon managed to locate him on his island, and while going through each others minds telepathically, Tren Krom saw what Kuurk intended to do with him. Kuurk then used a special ability to free Tren Krom from the island he was sealed in for millions of years, and then transported him to Helvean's Core, where the entity began his life anew as a part of Helvean's Core.
Abilities and Traits[]
Tren Krom is said to possess great power, rivaling that of Mata Nui. He has extensive telepathic abilities, allowing him to read beings' thoughts, and affect their mental state. While being mentally searched, the subject in turn could gain access to Tren Krom's mind, though the connection usually had adverse effects on the target. The only exception to this is tha
Tren Krom can also create a third eye and fire a fluorescent green laser beam from it which can instantly dissolve a target to dust. Tren Krom also has the ability to swap minds with another being, but only if the target gives consent to it.
Tren Krom was originally proud of helping create a universe built on order, and longed to return to power after his imprisonment. He eventually got his wish centuries later when he became a part of Helvean's core.
