Tomoe was a member of the Toa Malia, and now resides on Kehidupan as a member of the Council.

Biography

Early life

1000 years before the Great Cataclysm War, Tomoe was created by Mata Nui as a Le-Matoran. He did maintenance on the Great Spirit Robot. As a Le-Matoran, he used his limited elemental powers to purify the air inside the Great Spirit Robot.

War against Abaddon

When Abaddon declared war against Mata Nui, Tomoe, along with three other Matoran, became Toa through the will of Mata Nui. Tomoe joined the Toa Malia and worked with Matoran and the Brotherhood of Makuta to defeat Abaddon's armies.

Tomoe fought against a horde of Visorak, using his Air powers to avoid their Rhotuka. He manipulated the air currents to make the Visorak hit each other with their Rhotuka, creating discord within the horde. Tomoe took advantage with the chaos and defeated the horde.

Having completed his destiny, Tomoe used up his Toa Energy to revive the fallen Matroan, becoming a Turaga. He resided on Kehidupan with the Matoran afterwards. He considered it his Duty to continue to protect the Matoran.

Enslavement by the Brotherhood

When the Brotherhood of Makuta took over the Great Spirit Robot, Tomoe kept Matoran safe in the tunnels of Kehidupan, and did his best to comply with the Brotherhood's demands.

He used his Mask of Concealment to distract several Makuta who lurked near the entrance to the tunnels, keeping them from finding the Matoran Mata Nui designated to become Toa.

After the War

Tomoe joined the Council of Kehidupan with Emanuel and other survivors of the original Order of Mata Nui.

He was present when Helryx returned to Kehidupan, calming Suram's rage at the Council for not protecting Wira. He supported both Emanuel's and Kisa's suggestions to protect Kehidupan from the Infernal Legion.

The Aftermath

At some point after the Matoran Universe migrated to Spherus Magna and integrated with the Agori, Tomoe told a tale about the "Nightwatcher" around a campfire.

Personality and traits

Tomoe upheld strongly to the virtue of Duty, not acting outside of his commitments and assignments. He believed that true strength was present when one was following orders as part of their duty. He personally loathed those who did not follow orders to a fine art or commit whole-heartedly to their duty.

Tomoe was known as a trickster, telling jokes at questionable times and pulling pranks his comrades. He strives to bring join where he can, having seen the Matoran and the Universe fall dark multiple times.

After becoming a Turaga, Tomoe questioned his duty, deciding that it was duty to protect Kehidupan as best as he could.

Powers and tools

As a Toa, Tomoe was extremely skilled at controlling the element of Air, using his weapon to creating cyclones with ease. He also used his Air powers to amplify his speed and attacks, giving them more force and allowing a larger range.

Tomoe wears the Mask of Concealment, Huna. He used his mask to keep himself and the Toa Malia hidden, launching surprise attacks. He combined this with his Air prowess to attack from unexpected angles.

After Tomoe became a Turaga, he lost a large amount of his elemental powers, as well as having his mask power dampened greatly.
