The Toa Neirae were a group of Toa created to defend the Ignika and Core Processor Room. The group was lead by Kisa and corresponds with the Council of Kehidupan.
History[]
Early History[]
1000 years before the Great Cataclysm War, the Toa Neirae are created by Mata Nui as the protectors of the Ignika and the Core Processor Room, stationed in Furro. The Toa Neirae are given enhanced combat abilities, enough to go against the Makuta and designed to be stronger than all other species in the Great Spirit Robot. Kisa is appointed the leader by Mata Nui and granted the power of the Makuta.
Abaddon's Assault[]
Approximately 500 years of peace pass, disturbed by Abaddon and Vicoran entering Furro and combating the Toa Neirae. The Toa team are able to defeat the tyrant, working with the Order of Mata Nui to destroy Vicoran. The Toa Neirae are present when the Order of Mata Nui imprison Abaddon in a pocket dimension.
Great Cataclysm War[]
The Brotherhood of Makuta attack the Toa Neirae, defeating the team and imprisoning them. The Brotherhood of Makuta rule the Matoran Universe for 50 years before Mata Nui frees the Toa Neirae during the Great Cataclysm War.
The Toa Neirae work with the reformed Order of Mata Nui and defeat the Brotherhood of Makuta, allowing Mata Nui to regain control over the Great Spirit Robot.
Battle with the Infernal Legion[]
20 years after the Great Cataclysm War, Kisa, Mecava and Uragan joined with members of the Order of Mata Nui to rescue Wira.
Later, when Abaddon returns, the Toa Neirae attacked the Varim tyrant after he defeated the Order of Mata Nui. Kisa, Uragan and Odron corner Abaddon, then it is revealed that Abaddon created an illusion using Solstice. Kisa ended up killing Odron, and then is decapitated by Abaddon.
