Tiruhk is an Onu-Matoran from one of the Southern Islands.

History[]

Like most of his kind, Tiruhk was created by The Great Beings to build and inhabit the Matoran Universe. Once it was completed, he moved to the Southern Islands. He became a part of a tribe of Matoran there, forming a village they called "Bo-Koro". He served as one of the warriors of his tribe. It was during that time that he formed a friendship with Kenod, one of the tribe's hunters.

When the Matoran Civil War at Metru Nui occurred, its effects were felt all across the world. He and Kenod built a boat and sailed to the north to investigate. They ran into Jovan's Toa Team, who told them of the truth. The duo ferried them to the Southern Continent, and returned home after Mata Nui was restored to health. Tiruhk and his friend developed a wanderlust, however, and decided to create their own business.

They would ferry a number of beings afterwards. Among them are a Ko-Matoran from the north, an eccentric Mersion, a Ba-Matoran adventurer, a Le-Matoran bard, a Toa Hagah on the run, and many more. Jismal later hired the two to help her locate an old collage of her's, and sailed them both back to her hideout. At some point after that, they joined the Ag-Kraahkan. They were forced to shutdown their business when Teridax overthrow Mata Nui, and joined up with Tahu's resistance movement. When Teridax landed on Bara Magna and unleashed his armies, Kenod and Tiruhk convinced their tribe to fight alongside Tahu.

Tiruhk would live to see Mata Nui restore Spherus Magna, and would join the new Matoran/Agori society. A few years later, however, he was kidnapped by Dilukrom and his cult for their experiments. He was later freed by Janus when Ahpolki and his crew discovered the madman's hideout.

Abilities and Traits[]

While Kenod held a resent towards most of the Northern universe, Tiruhk was fascinated by them. And while Kenod shed no tears at the Archives Massacre, the Onu-Matoran became weary of the Brotherhood of Makuta. Like his collage, he developed a wanderlust, desiring to see all the world had to offer.

Tiruhk was among one of the strongest of the people of Bo-Koro, having clashed with Rahi beasts and rival tribes. Like all Onu-Matoran, he possesses night-vision.

Mask and Tools[]

Tiruhk wears a Kanohi Kadin, and wields two cutters.

Appearances[]

Trivia[]

  • He was originally intended to appear in Black Plague. In it, he would've been the Onu-Matoran that called Glonor to Balfe-Nui. Ahpolki Inika also had considered adding him to the story's final battle, and thought of having him die as well. However, he was never implemented into the final version of the story.
