Tiamat (Pron. tyah-maht) is a female Neo-Vortixx and a former very high ranking Xian Vortixx. She was swept up in Alaric's revolution and is now the second and incumbent leader of the Neo-Vortixx on Spherus Magna.
History[]
Early Life[]
Like all Vortixx, Tiamat originates from the island of Xia. She was the protégé of the most influential conglomerate leader on the island. Tiamat was sheltered. For much of her early life, she was groomed to be an heiress and never saw the corruption, violence, and inequality that lay outside of her company factory's walls. Prior to her Passage, the Vortixx spent much her time being taught protocol and advanced economics, as well as more practical skills hand-to-hand combat, hostage negotiation, and combat logistics. Just having an education such as this spoke of her extremely high status. Schooling was non-existent on Xia so to have these critical skills handed to her on a silver plate was an incredible luxury.
With her education complete she quickly assumed the second-in-command position of the conglomerate. She took care of all small-scale operations and a fair amount of the daily tasks while the leader took care of major deals and behind-the-scenes company machinations. Most of what Tiamat did was legal though after a few deals gone sour, she soon got used to shadier business dealings as well.
Rite of Passage[]
Tiamat's Rite was a formality more than anything else.
Having spent many years cut off from the Xian population, she did not have a partner to choose from and was her name was therefore entered to a random lottery draw lots from.

- "Tiamat" is a Babylonian goddess. She is the primordial goddess of saltwater as well as creation from chaos.
- As with all of the Neo-Vortixx, this character's theme song, "Stasis", was composed by meganeko.
