Telrax is a Toa of Fire and Order of Mata Nui operative.  

History

Early Life

Like most Matoran, Telrax began his life on Spherus Magna, where he helped to construct the Matoran Universe. Following the completion of his task, Telrax was placed in the Southern Continent, along with other Matoran. Shortly after the launch of the Great Spirit Robot, he gained sentience due to Velika’s tampering with the Matoran Universe. Although he continued his original task, the Ta-Matoran was granted emotions and became self-aware.

Telrax originated from the region that would later become known as Voya Nui. Little is known of his early life; however, it is commonly believed that he worked as some kind of nomadic guard. When Matoran from the island of Karzahni were being sent to Voya Nui, they discovered Telrax. His knowledge of the island allowed the Matoran to establish villages across Voya Nui.

Telrax would protect the Matoran village for many years, before Axonn and Brutaka arrived on Voya Nui. The agents questioned the Ta-Matoran, and chose to indoctrinate him as a servant for the Order of Mata Nui.

Order of Mata Nui

Sent to the island of Daxia, Telrax would train under the warrior Hydraxon, honing his skills. He would then be transformed into a Toa through unknown means. Telrax served as an operative for the Order, joining other members on missions pertaining to stealth, scouting, or espionage.

Destiny War

Telrax was drafted to participate in the Order's war against the Brotherhood of Makuta, primarily tasked with scouting out and spying on various Brotherhood strongholds. Early in the conflict, Telrax would back fellow operative Jarodin in attacking a stronghold on the Northern Continent. Alongside other members of the Order, the group was able to swarm the Brotherhood's camp and dispatch their Rahkshi army.

Reign of Shadows

After Makuta Teridax took over Mata Nui's body, the Makuta leveled the Order's base on Daxia, killing many members of the Order. However, Telrax managed to survive, though he was critically injured. Forced to accept the downfall of the Great Spirit, the Toa went into hiding along with the rest of the Order. He would later join a resistance group alongside the Ta-Matoran Raeys.

Later, the Great Spirit Robot was damaged heavily as a consequence of the Battle of Bara Magna. The inhabitants of the Matoran Universe, including Telrax, emigrated to Spherus Magna.

Abilities and Traits

As a Ta-Matoran, Telrax had inactive control over the Element of Fire and a partial resistance to heat. When he became a Toa, he gained full access to these powers, allowing him to create, manipulate, and absorb heat and fire.

Mask and Tools

Telrax has worn a Kanohi Huna throughout his life. When he became a Toa, the mask granted him the ability to appear entirely or partially invisible by mentally bending all wavelengths of light around himself. The mask, however, did not conceal any sounds or shadows created and offered no protection against Elda, Arthron, or Rode users. Telrax commonly utilized his Kanohi during stealth missions.

Telrax utilized a variety of weapons throughout his lifetime.
