Early life[]
As with all other Toa, Tekuta began his life as a Ga-Matoran on Spherus Magna, where he was instructed to contribute with the construction of the Matoran Universe. Upon its completion, Tekuta and all matoran, were placed inside the Matoran Universe, which then departed from Spherus Magna.
Doing his part to ensure the continued functionality of the Great Spirit, one of the Great Beings disguised himself as a Matoran named Velika, in order to observe the inner workings of the Matoran Universe. With his influence, the matoran developed culture and true independence.
Being placed in Metru Nui, Tekuta was a school teacher, often bumping into Nokama in their teachings, Roughly 94,000, to 90,000 years ago, Tekuta did not witness the expansion of the League of Six Kingdoms over the Matoran Universe, as they never could take Metru Nui. With the Barraki imprisoned by the Order of Mata Nui and their armies dismantled by the efforts of the Toa and Brotherhood of Makuta, many years later, Takuta moved to Xia, leaving Ga Metru because of the political unrest. He lived in Xia for many years, up until he became a toa, although many details of his transformation are shrouded in mystery.
Roughly 80,000 years ago, he was approached by Makuta Chirox to join his Toa Hagah, Often having to break up fights between Magma and Dentro, he found a close friendship with Toa Dentro, and Petra both often seen between missions helping injured Rahi.
Life as a Toa[]
Around 35,000 to 13,000 years ago, Makuta Chirox corrupted the Toa of fire and earth, ordering them to kill the others, who had since begun to rebel. The death toll has never fully been established, but it is considered the toa of air, and Lightning, were killed publicly, while the Toa of Plasma and Sonics had been killed centuries ago. which established Chirox as a force to be reckoned with if he could corrupt Toa, the Toa of Stone and Water escaped, and Chirox has been hunting them ever since. Somehow After this event, during the great cataclysm, Tekuta was trapped in a series of caves with edible fish rahi, he has yet to escape, but worryingly, it seems he has become delirious, often seeing his dead teammate Dentro in the cave with him.

- Tekuta’s Toa Form was based on a Toa Mangai of Earth that rescued him during a BioQuake, the same BioQuake that trapped Petra
