Tangi is a De-Matoran Rahi herder.

History[]

Tangi is believed to have come into being on the Tren Krom Peninsula, near the village of De-Koro. While much of his history is unknown, he did attempt to befriend Krakua at one point. He was among the De-Matoran knocked unconscious by Vultraz's sonic emitter five years ago. When the Great Spirit Robot was damaged in a fight between Teridax and Mata Nui, he was among the beings that fled to Spherus Magna.

After that, he would herd Rahi and the local fauna for several months. He was later hired by Mutul to act as a coachman for one of his carriages. He would go to the Great Jungle alongside the Expedition. As of yet, none of them have returned.

Abilities and Traits[]

Tangi seems to have an interest in music, as he took some musical notes and an instrument with him for the journey. This may be part of the reason as to why he tried to befriend Krakua. He also has an interest in the wildlife of both worlds, as noted by his role as a herder and coachman.

Like all De-Matoran, Tangi's hearing is more acute than most Matoran, being able to hear anything from many Kio away. However, this ability is also his greatest weakness, as seen when his village was attacked by Vultraz. As such, he has trained himself to make as little noise as possible.

Mask and Tools[]

Tangi wears a powerless Mask of Rahi Contro and has been known for carrying a whistle around his neck. He also brought a flute and some musical scores with him for the trip. Mutul also gave him a pair of earmuffs he fashioned, meant to make him resistant to loud noises.
