The Sub-Track runner was an electric vehicle that ran on tracks that was used to acess the Tehktra nui mines. They are no longer in use because when Tehktra nui landed on Jadax Magna, the mines were destroyed.
Tunnel and Track System[]
A Sub-Track Runner tunnel
The tunnel system, in which the Sub-Track Runners operated in, was arranged in a grid system of tracks that never crossed. They extended deep into the bedrock till they reached a point where the earth cannot be mined. They had various different stations for the miners to dismount at regular intervals. The tracks that ran through the tunnels were made of protosteel and were only cracked by the strongest tremors.
Track Aneurysm[]
When the tunnels were particularly hot, small bubbles sometimes formed on the track known as track aneurysms. These were not usually dangerous, and just caused a suddenly bump for the passengers, but larger ones required removal immediately.
