The Staff of Irakih is Sumani's weapon of choice.
History[]
Little to nothing is known about this tool. It is believed to be crafted by an unknown Mersion, designed for the use of archeologists and adventurers. Regardless of whatever its origins were, it eventually found its way into the hands of Sumina.
Function[]
The carving in the center is made from Lightstones, which draw power from an unknown energy source (possible the light around it). The staff would glow, acting as a sort of lantern for the user. It could also fire lasers at a target, though it would require much more power to do so. If the user is traveling in darkness and fires, then the staff will shutdown and recharge, leaving him/her without any source of light for a few moments.

Trivia[]
- Irakih is "Hikari" spelt backwards, which is Japanese for "Light".
- It is possible that the staff was named after its creator. It may also be possible that its a word from a language within the Matoran Universe. Neither one of these, however, has been proven.
