The Soulless are a species of beings whose souls have been stolen or given away willingly, usually by or to Shadowmaster.
History[]
The first Soulless was a Makuta, Shale, who ventured to the Fortress of the Fallen in order to find Shadowmaster. He found him, and willingly gave up his soul, enhancing his dark powers and granting him other abilities.
As more beings ventured to the Fortress or were kidnapped, their souls were stolen as well, and the ranks of the Soulless grew, becoming the majority of Shadowmaster's army. The Soulless all reside in the Fortress currently, waiting for their next order.
Abilities and Traits[]
The Soulless can range all sizes, since any species can be converted into a Soulless. However, the basic abilities of a Soulless still remain the same.
The Soulless are stronger, more agile, and more durable than their non-soulless counterparts. This is due to the absence of their souls, without it, they can feel no pain, and have no physical restraints. However, some Soulless have displayed pain and emotions, on rare occasions.
As a result of their conversion, the Soulless control the element of shadow, and can steal others' souls simply by touch.
Classes[]
Matoran/Agori/Turaga[]
Soulless Matoran or Agori are the most common of Soulless. Their armor is changed to white and black after conversion, and they are able to harness trace shadow abilities. A less common type is Turaga. They can harness shadow powers at the strength of a Toa, and are as agile as a fast Toa as well.
Toa/Glatorian[]
Toa and Glatorian are very powerful Soulless, able to use shadow at the strength of a Makuta. They are less agile than the previous class of Soulless, but are still faster than the average Toa. Their armor color is usually black, silver, and/or red, with gray appearing on occasion.
Makuta and Greater Beings[]
Among the greatest (and rarest) of the Soulless are the Makuta and greater beings. These beings are capable of using their powers to the extent of the power level of a Legendary Mask. Their appearance varies, and they are very rare.
