Shaza is a Toa of Lightning and a member of the Society of Guardians.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Shaza was originally a Matoran of Lightning, and a talented engineer on her home island.
At some point, a Toa named Hydros arrive on her island in time to aid Shaza and the other Matoran in an attempt to protect their from an unspecified danger. They succeeded, eventually leading to Shaza and Hydros developing a very close brother-sister relationship. Shaza would later convince Hydros to stay on the island when he did not need to leave for missions.
Toa[]
Eventually, due in part to Hydros, Shaza was transformed into a Toa. After being trained by Hydros, she took on the role of the island's guardian alongside her brother Toa.
Later, unknown to Hydros at the time, Shaza began to become suspicious of Hydros' consistent need to leave the island. This led her to following him and discovering the Order of Mata Nui's existence. Though Helryx wished to have the Toa of Lightning eliminated to prevent her from potentially revealing the Order's existence, Hydros pleaded with Helryx into allowing his sister to live. The ancient Toa of Water eventually - and reluctantly - agreed on the condition Shaza never do anything to threaten the Order's status, terms both of the other Toa gladly accepted.
About two thousand years before the Great Cataclysm, Shaza was called to Metru Nui to participate in the Toa/Dark Hunter War, after which she returned to her home island.

Abilities & Traits[]
A tactical thinker, Shaza is capable of understanding a situation quickly. She is very quick witted and she can hold her own against almost any adversary, though she is often impulsive. Though a little stubborn at times she is, overall, a loyal person and true friend. Due to an injury of some sort several years ago, Shaza's armor is colored yellow, black and silver over the normal white and blue generally adopted by Toa of Lightning.
Shaza is very skilled in combat. She is very quick and agile, and is a master of wielding her talons. As a Toa of Lightning, Shaza can create, control, and absorb electrical energy. Not long after her acceptance into the Society, Shaza was trained how to shield her mind against telepathy.
Mask & Tools[]
Shaza wears the Great Mask of Regeneration. Her weapons are a pair of Protosteel Talons. After arriving in Karda Nui, Shaza found and repaired an old Matoran jetpack which allows her to fly.
