Shadowus was a Makuta, a member of the Brotherhood of the Makuta, and a Dark Hunter.
Biography[]
Pre-Karda Nui[]
Shadowus first met the Shadowed One when he came to his home island, and found him at a meeting with Icarax, Krika, Kojol, and Spiriah. The Shadowed One hired him out as a Dark Hunter, and began sending him out on missions.
Karda Nui[]
He later went to Karda Nui with Bitil, Krika, Gorast, Icarax, Antroz, Chirox, Vamprah, and Mutran, and was one of the Makuta that attacked the villages and battled the Toa Nuva Phantoka in the sky, and dropped a shadow leech on an Av-Matoran named Firius, and chose him as his Shadow Matoran. He was blinded by Matoro using the Ignika, and had to relay on Firius to be able to see. Hew was present of the destruction of the Shadow Leech Hive. He was the only Makuta to escape the Energy Storms of Karda Nui, and his Shadow Matoran was not turned back into an Av-Matoran, and Shadowus opened a portal to Bara Magna and escaped through it.

Shadowus and Firius landed face-first in a pile of sand, and eventually met Mata Nui and persuaded Mata Nui to let him join him and his friends. He later returned to the Matoran Universe.

He later discovered that another Makuta had escape the Karda Nui Energy Storms: Darkius.
Alternate Universes[]
The Chronicles of Mata Nui and Toa Ignika Alternate Universe[]
In this alternate universe, Shadowus escaped by turning intangible and hitching a ride on the Rockoh T3, going unnoticed by Pohatu because he had gone intangible, and made it to Karda Nui with the Toa Nuva. He revealed himself to the Toa Nuva when they witnessed Teridax's speech, and was angry at Teridax for not warning him and the other Makuta in Karda Nui about the Energy Storms, and join the Makutaverse Rebellion Force. He later revealed the fact that Tren Krom had been freed to the Toa Nuva, and exposed Tren Krom. The Toa Nuva, along with him, later freed Lewa, but created a new body for Tren Krom, and put Lewa back in his own body again. He later was the leader of a group of members of the Makutaverse Rebellion Force.
