History[]
Seeker and his species were created during the early years of the Matoran Universe.
2,500 years ago, after Makuta Kojol returned from his successful raid on Artakha, Seeker was assigned by the Brotherhood of Makuta to guard the Kanohi Avohkii in the Destral Fortress. Over time, Seeker gained a desire to own the mask himself.
1,300 years ago, Makuta Teridax's Toa Hagah stole the Kanohi Avohkii, and were turned into Rahaga in the process. Cast out of the Brotherhood for his failure to guard it, Seeker began a mission to seek out and reclaim the Mask of Light from the Toa Hagah, and joined the Dark Hunters to do so. However, he was unsuccessful in this endeavour, as they managed to hide the mask in Metru Nui and prophesized that someday, someone would find the mask, and give it to its destined bearer.
Unaware of the fact that Takanuva now wears the Avohkii, Seeker continues to hope that he will be able to find the Mask of Light during his missions for the Dark Hunters. However, Ombrista believes that should Seeker ever get ahold of the Avohkii, he would try to leave the Dark Hunters, which would reault in his imminent execution. Therefore, Ombrista makes sure that information about the mask is kept a secret from Seeker at all costs.
