History[]
The Sacred Grove once was a forest clearing that some of the first inhabitants of Balfe Nui used to construct a pit reinforced with stone. As none of the original constructions on the site remained, the exact use of the place is unknown.
Patriots[]
Many hundreds of years later Nuva used the site to construct his powered disk launcher, which he planned to use to destroy Tilira. He gathered his forces of Forgotten Warriors here and used the place as his base.
Months later, the Patriots launched an attack on Nuva and a battle broke loose. It ultimately ended when a great disk of power was launched and killed most of the combatants.
Theran afterwards ordered the remaining Forgotten Warriors to guard the fallen forever.
Elegy[]
The battlefield and the remains of the fallen warriors were guarded for a few more weeks until a few of the survivors returned, asking the Warriors for help. It was only days later that the now very small number of Forgotten Warriors were called to a hideout near Rhagard.
The place of battle was visited for a final time by Range and Merall to retrieve the body of the deceased Brorag to place him among the other fallen members of his team in the Farside Crypt.
The Sacred Grove has since been abandoned. Over time, nature reclaimed the ancient stones that make up the grounds and created a final resting place for the deceased on the soft bed of vegetation.
Fallen Warriors[]
These warriors fell in the Battle at the Sacred Grove and their bodies remained at this site, resting on the stones of the old ruins.
