Roodaka was a powerful Vortixx, who served as the Viceroy of the Visorak Horde.
History[]
Early Life[]
Roodaka came to a position of early prominence on Xia by surviving an ancient rite of passage. Scaling the cliffs of the living Mountain, Roodaka found her partner's foot had become trapped and was faced with an opportunity to free him. Rather than show weakness, she left him to be devoured and seizing the opportunity to ascend to the top. Surviving the ancient contest of wills, she was rewarded with great affluence.
Around 3,000 years before the Great Cataclysm, Roodaka greeting the Toa Mangai as they transported the defeated Kanohi Dragon from Metru Nui. Although she promised Toa Lhikan that the creature would be treated with dignity, Roodaka ensured the Rahi was restrained and kept underground for observation. This decision is widely believed to have given Vortixx weaponsmiths opportunity to develop the Electro Chute Blade and Griffin Gauntlet.
Roodaka later came to the Dark Hunters seeking training where she she encountered a rogue Toa of Air named Nidhiki, who offered to reward her if she would help him escape the island. Instead, she alerted The Shadowed One to Nidhiki's treachery. She then secured her training by double-crossing and mutating the Toa into an insectoid monster, ensuring that he could never be accepted anywhere except the Dark Hunters.
Brotherhood of Makuta[]

Roodaka would later enter into the service of the Brotherhood of Makuta, an organization widely considered to be competitors of the Dark Hunters.
Roughly 1300 years ago, the Toa Hagah became aware of Roodaka, as well as the Brotherhood of Makuta's ulterior motives. In an act of rebellion, the Toa Hagah attempted to smuggle the Kanohi Avohkii off of Destral and transfer it into the hands of their fellow Toa. However, only Norik and Iruini were able to escape the initial assault, leaving Gaaki, Bomonga, Pouks, and Kualus behind. Taken prisoner by Roodaka, the four captive Toa were mutated by the effects of her Rhotuka spinner, transforming into haggard and twisted Rahkshi-Turaga crossbreeds nicknamed Rahaga. Following a failed rescue attempt by Norik and Iruini, all six Toa Hagah were mutated by Roodaka. At the cost of their dignity and with their elemental capabilities severely diminished as a result of their mutation, the Rahaga were able to escape Destral, ultimately successful in their original mission to smuggle the Kanohi Avohkii off the island.

Abilities and Traits[]
As with all Vortixx, Roodaka was naturally cunning and manipulative, able to broker trade deals and persuade enemies to act in her interests while concealing her true objectives. Unlike other females of her species who were content to scavenge and acquire profit, she sought to conquer the various political spheres of the Matoran Universe and claim true power for herself.
Roodaka possessed the ability to manipulate Shadow in a non-elemental capacity, and refined her abilities, having studied the fighting techniques of Eliminator, Shadow Stealer, Kraata-Kal, and Sentrakh while serving in the Dark Hunters, as well as several Makuta.
Weapons and Tools[]
Roodaka carried a Rhotuka launcher, which enabled her to mutate a target to her liking. The Rhotuka was derived from a powerful Reconstitute at Random Kanoka and its effects were shown to be permanent, unless Roodaka chose to undo them with a second Rhotuka. She was also shown to have some degree of control over the mutations and had a great love for irony, turning the Toa Hagah into diminutive Turaga-Rahkshi hybrids and the arachnophobic Nidhiki into a monstrous spider-creature.
She also carried a Catcher Claw, a pronged mace weapon that was capable of catching Rhotuka in mid-air and deflecting them.
