Riha was a Toa of the Green and a member of the Toa Mangai.

History

Early history

Unlike most other Matoran, Riha did not begin his life as a Matoran laboring to build the Great Spirit Robot. He was instead created by the Matoran-making machine, to replace a Matoran that had lost his life. He was swiftly transformed into a Toa by unknown means

He endeavored to carry out his purpose by protecting the Matoran to ensure the continued functionality of the Great Spirit. Shortly after the successful launch of the Matoran Universe, riha gained true sentience due to Velika's tampering with the Matoran species. Although he continued his original task, Riha was imbued with emotions and became self-aware.

Toa Mangai

When he came to Metru Nui, he joined with Toa Lhikan, where he fought the Kanohi Dragon and won. During the fight, he was wounded and his mask was charred from the Dragon's flames. He later witnessed the beast being shipped to Xia. He, along with the rest of the Toa Mangai, decided to stay in the city and guard it.

Some time later, Riha formed part of an army of 300 Toa when the Dark Hunters attacked Metru Nui in what would later be known as the Toa/Dark Hunter War. He patrolled the city and was one of the Toa Lhikan assigned to guard Turaga Dume.

Riha served as one of the guardians of Metru Nui for hundreds of peaceful years after the war. He continued to protect the Matoran even as the other Toa of Metru Nui were killed when sent on deadly missions ordered by the Makuta Teridax, disguised as Turaga Dume. Eventually, all of the Toa Mangai, except Lhikan, were killed by Dark Hunter Eliminator.

Abilities and Traits

Riha was typically very hostile, and suspicious. He was also quite stubborn, but typically warms up very quickly, despite his claims to the contrary. He is also very agile, and wears only light armor to account for this.

As a Toa of Plantlife, Riha had near-perfect command over plant-based life-forms. As such, at a basic level, he could create, control, and absorb plants. Examples of this included creating thorns and vines, altering the form of plants in an area, and controlling the actions of plantlife.

Powers and Equipment

Similarly to all other Bo-Matoran, Riha possessed a minuscule degree of control over the Element of Plantlife, though he could not access Elemental Powers or utilize a Great Kanohi. Additionally, he was extremely knowledgeable about various forms of plantlife and their application

Riha wears the Kanohi Mask of Healing, which gave him to the power to heal various physical injuries of other living beings. Specifically, he could cure diseases, insanity caused by a physical ailment, and the organic parts of a wounded being, but not viruses, himself, or mutations.

Riha carried several daggers of varying lengths, which could channel his elemental powers, along with being imbued with their own special effects.
