Rhahesh are a species of mechanical beings made by the Brotherhood of Makuta to carry Kraata to designated places.
History[]
The Rhahesh, also known as Kraata Carriers, were made some time ago out of the remains of broken Rahkshi. More constructions then creatures, the Rhahesh are rumored to have been built by a Matoran, though popular traditions holds that the Makuta invented it themselves.
The Rhahesh were used to carry Kraata to designated places and deposit them, then proceeding to travel to a secondary location and await further instruction. Some Makuta, such as Teridax and Bitil, used many of these machines, while others refused to use any. It has yet to be known what issue they had, though some believe it is due to a feeling of weakness in using fallen warriors.
After the rebuilding of Spherus Magna, the Rhahesh vanished. Like so much of their history, they disappeared just as quickly as they had come.
Abilities and Traits[]
The Rhahesh had an ability in that once per minute, they could make great jumps, or bursts of speed, moving faster then an eye could follow. This leads many to believe they can teleport or simply wink out of existance.
This ability aside, the Rhahesh only have a pair of spurs on their legs with which to defend themselves. They could incite the Kraata to activate their powers if the Rhahesh were cornered, though this was rarely seen.
Social Structure[]
The Rhahesh were entirely dependent on the Makuta for command, though in rare instances, other creatures gained control over them.
While they avoided contact with anything while on their mission, the Rhahesh would fight if trapped and caught between their jumps. They never spoke, screamed or cried, though the Kraata in them often made a racket.
Known Individuals[]
Only one individual Rhahesh has been known, this one being used by Turaga Onewa on the island of Mata Nui. It is unclear of how he got control of it (even he was not sure), but the Kraata Carrier became invaluable when the Turaga needed to hunt for Kraata that Teridax was releasing upon the island.
This particular Rhahesh was left on the island when the Matoran returned to Metru Nui
