Reysa is an Onu-Matoran and the Head Hydruka Keeper in Mahri Nui.
History[]
Like all Matoran in Mahri Nui, Reysa once lived somewhere else before he was injured and sent to Karzahni for repair. While there, his original mask was replaced by a Mask of Earth. After his repairs were done, Karzahni sent Reysa to the Southern Continent to hide his failure from the rest of the world.
Reysa survived the Great Cataclysm and the subsequent sinking of Mahri Nui into the Voya Nui Bay. Reysa was the first to recognize that the Gafna that had fallen into the Bay with the city had mutated into Hydruka, capable of harvesting the Airweed to replenish the Air Domes over the city.
Shortly before the expedition into the Black Water, Reysa fell ill and was unable to oversee his harvesting shift in the Fields of Airweed. Gar, one of his fellow Hydruka Keepers, volunteered to fill in for him.

Reysa was described by Lemiddus as "a lighthearted and friendly fellow."
Powers and Equipment[]
Being an Onu-Matoran, Reysa can see far better in darkness than other Matoran, but is more sensitive to sunlight. Reysa wears a powerless Mask of Earth. He always carries his spear and electro-blade with him whenever he is outside the protective Air Domes. He also owns a Hydruka calling fork, a metal device used to direct the Hydruka with vibrations in the water.
