Reconstruction is the eighth installment in the Unending Shadows Storyline. It is set in the Fragmented Universe and is set immediately after the second season finale of The Arker Chronicles. The story explores the impact of the Reformation of Spherus Magna in the Universe and shows how the Matoran and Agori species work together to rebuild their new world.

• Originally, the story was set to only be a short story just to add context for the next season of The Arker Chronicles, but in 2017 the story was reworked to be the eighth installment in the series.
• Reconstruction will be the final story in the Unending Shadows Storyline's timeline to be set in the canon BIONICLE continuity.
