Toa Rakuma was a Toa of creation and the Leader of the Toa Niu. Unlike the Toa Karda and Toa Artakha, he was 'born' a Matoran but was transformed into a Toa.
Rakuma worked as a Toolsmith on the Island of Artakha where he was friends with Kankoa. Rakuma was eventually chosen by Artakha to be one of the 4 Toa to assist the Toa Mata. Rakuma received a Toa Stone and was transformed into a Toa at a Cre-Suva.

After his transformation into a Toa, Rakuma was approached by Order of Mata Nui members, who presented the Toa Niu with a wide variety of Gear to choose from. Rakuma exchanged his Calix for a Kualsi and chose a Two sided Energy-Blade and a Shuriken Shield as his Toa Tools.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a Toa of Creation, Rakuma has the ability to reshape any non-living material into another thing from the same material down to an atomic level.
Mask and Tools[]
As a Toa Niu, Rakuma wears a Kanohi Kualsi. This Mask of Quik Time Travel allows Rakuma to teleport to any location within his sight, but not past energy shields, such as those generated by a Kanohi Hau. Rakuma also wielded a Two sided Energy-Blade and a Shuriken Shield
