History[]
Pohatu's Toa Mata Form.
Early Life[]
Pohatu was created as a Toa on Artakha and was sent to Daxia where he awakened an met the rest of the Toa Mata.They were called the Toa mata after the Great Spirit and were told that there were his guardians by Toa Helryx. They were trained by Hydraxon and after training sent to Karda Nui to protect the Av-Matran there.
There Pohatu and the Toa Mata fought the Avohkah. After defeating them they went to the Codrex to escape the energy storms. They entered the Toa Canisters due to the Cordrex not having a life support system.
Great Cataclysm[]
When the great Cataclysm happened the toa's Canisters were sent in the ocean but never arrived on the island of Mata-Nui until about 1000 years later when Krakua get the Toa Stones and summoned Pohatu and his team to the island. Krakua then set them to Metru Nui.

Metru Nui[]
With no recollection of his past, Pohatu joined the Toa Metru and was trained alongside other recruit Toa from veteran members of the team Pouks, Tehutti, Jaller, Takanuva, and Zepharious. He and his team received new armor upon joining.
A few months later Pohatu was present when Tollobo arrived and joined the Toa Metru too.
Invasion of Po-Metru []
A few months later The Brotherhood of Makuta sent a full scale invasion force to Po-Metru led by Shadow Ahkmou. During the invasion Tahu and Gruru were overwhelmed defending the area and were never heard from again. The remaining Toa were forced to fall back with as many civilian survivors as possible. The Turaga Council issued a full scale evacuation of Po-metru.

Eternal Wounds[]
After falling back to the Border of Po-Metru, Pohatu was shot in the head. Due to Everyone thinking the Toa of stone as dead they decided to go back for him later. Although a Skakdi named Molten arrived and saved the Toa. He left with the sakdi after he was told he was needed with Tahu and Guru who survived the invasion as well.
Becoming a Turaga[]
The group then went with the Skakdi to Daxia where he met Helryx again. Pohatu and Guru gave the Toa of Water Toa Stones for her to use. She gave them to a matoran maned Mazeka and a Matoran named Velika. Pohatu then became Turaga afterwards. The three former members of the Toa Metru then went to Aura Nui to begin new lives.

Abilities and Traits[]
As a matoran Pohatu had a miniscule amount of control over the stone and like other po-matoran he has increased agility. As a Toa of Stone Pohatu could create, control, and absorb stone. As a turaga his elemental powers of stone were greatly diminished.
Pohatu is extremely friendly, happy, and dependable. He is very forgiving and passive. He was really close friends with Kopaka before he relocated to Aura Nui.
