Poharu is a Toa of Earth on Makuta Sidios's Hagah Team.
Biography[]
Poharu, along with his teammates, came from from the east. No one on Treka Nui knows where exactly, and neither do they. Legends on Treka Nui tell of Six Great Warriors who would rise from the east to defeat a great evil. They are known as the Sunrise Warriors. It is commonly known among the Matoran that the wisest of these is the Earth Ranger. He is said to speak only when it is necessary. Additionally, he has all sorts of hidden weapons and skills, namely his great sunclaws. It is said that they were forged in the sun itself, as was his mask, the Great Solom. When he and the others arrived, he was indeed almost always silent.
later in the day, he was attacked by a Shadowbeast and suddenly three blades appeared out of nowhere in each hand. He and the other Toa then decided to rid the island of these evil rahi before facing Makuta Oromis, who it was beleived created these menaces. This decision was thanks in no small part to Poharu, as only he understood the meaning of these attacks.

Personality and Traits[]
Poharu is wiser than all the other Toa, thanks in no small part to his mask of Illumination. He only speaks when neseccary, and occasionally not at all or, when with his closest friends or fighting, more than usual. He is firm, brave but not to the point of foolishness, and extremely loyal and fair.
Mask and Weapons[]
Poharu wears a Kanohi Solom, Mask of Wisdom, which allows the user to understand things on a higher level than most beings, such as, if it was explained to him, the workings of parallel universes, time, and teleportation. Things become clearer to him faster than to others, and part of the mask's curse is that the user cannot communicate this information to others. He carries twin extendable Sunsteel claws, which flip back on his wrists.
