The Plasma Lance was a Toa Tool, in the Fractures Universe.
History[]
Initially gifted to an unnamed Toa Hagah of Plasma, the Plasma Lance served as a badge of office, indicating its wielder's status as an elite warrior upon induction into the Brotherhood of Makuta. For many years the Lance was wielded as the primary Toa Tool of a Toa Hagah in Makuta Mutran's personal security detail. Following the Brotherhood of Makuta's systematic killing of its Toa Hagah, however, its owner was eliminated and the Plasma Lance fell into disuse.
Eventually, the weapon was smuggled off the island and auctioned on Stelt, where it was fraudulently shortened by a crafter so as not to risk it being identified as a Toa Hagah weapon. Ultimately, it was acquired by a former Dark Hunter named Gribrak after an intense bidding war.
The weapon is currently in the possession of Gribrak, its adoptive owner.
Functionality[]
Functioning principally as a Toa Tool, the Power Lance is able to channel and amplify a Toa's Elemental Plasma capabilities. It can be used for melee or physical combat.
Similarly to all of the Toa Hagah combat staffs, the Plasma Lance possessed limited powers of its own. The weapon itself had the ability to release a concentrated beam of Plasma. It could also remove all of the heat from an object or superheat it to the point of melting.
