Pilot is the first episode of MATA. It aired on December 9th, 2012.

Plot[]
The episode begins with Tahu, Lewa, and Gali in conversation, asking about Onua's whereabouts. Tahu states that Onua is on a business trip. Without too much discussion of it, Lewa's watch signals him to leave. When Tahu tries to talk to Gali, she states that she has to go too. Tahu is then left alone, though not for long as Pohatu and Kopaka enter the room quietly. Pohatu puts his arm on Tahu's shoulder, causing Tahu to freak out. Pohatu apologizes, though Kopaka admits he was trying to scare him. Tahu then tells Pohatu to "shut up," Pohatu responds simply by saying that he didn't say anything. After fading to and from black, the scene transitions to Onua presenting a chart he designed. The episode ends.
Trivia[]
- Onua wasn't present in the original script, nor was he intended to appear. This was due to the fact that his character wasn't casted until late in the episode's production, in which CallanLoF had added the ending scene with Onua giving his presentation.
- This is the only episode to feature Jareroden97 as the voice of Tahu, as in Tahu's following appearance his voice was taken over by Heronexus.
