History[]
Early Life []
Phaze was created by Mata-Nui and placed on Zakaz. Around 75,000 years ago Makuta Spiriah came to the island and performed experiments on the Skakdi which gave them elemental powers. He was given Psionic powers and could use eye beams in conjunction with another Skakdi.
When Spiriah left Phaze joined Nektann's Army during the civil war that ravaged the island.
Brotherhood Invasion[]
When the brotherhood of Makuta attacked Phaze left Zakaz with many other Sakdi due to overwhelming odds and migrated to Metru Nui.
Life in Metru Nui[]
While in Metru Nui Phaze, along with Mingch and Skakdi of Fire pretended to be the Piraka Gang putting Mingch in charge due to the real gang having a Skakdi of Air as the leader. Phaze was the brains of the operation and used Mingch only to make other believe they were the real Piraka Gang. Phaze hated Mingch due to him being a coward but was forced to keep him around. When Toa were not around they forced Matoran Businesses to pay protection fees.

Eternal Wounds[]
During a routine shakedown of the Le-Matoran Matau, a squad of Toa Metru interrupted the Skakdi in getting their payment. Phaze shot and incapacitated the Toa of Lightning Rahni. An enraged Toa of Sonics named Zepharious then attacked the Skakdi. After a short fight Zeparious snapped Phaze's neck killing him.
After dying, Phaze was revived on a red star due to it being its function. He was not returned to his body like all of the other deceased beings, and is stuck there.
Abilities and Traits[]
In conjunction with other Skakdi Phaze could use eye beams and use the element of Psonics.
Phaze was smart, cunning, and brave. He was manipulative and fearless as well. He had a deep hatred for his teammate Mingch due to him being a coward and an idiot.
