The Kanohi Paracelsus was the Mask of Poison Manipulation.
History[]
The Mask of Poison Manipulation was originally conceived by the Great Beings as one of a number of masks for the Matoran to wear. Recognizing it as a rather powerful and dangerous mask, they accordingly made it difficult to craft, requiring a total of fifteen Kanoka disks. After the intellectual Awakening of the Matoran due to Velika's tampering, the majority of Turaga leaders deemed the Kanohi immoral, resulting in most Matoran and Toa rejecting the Kanohi. However, many still wore it, particularly for its rarity and difficulty in crafting.
The Kanohi was known to be highly popular among Makuta, who were already very handy with viruses. It was also highly coveted in the Dark Hunters, though not many managed to get their hands on one, and even fewer were able to use it effectively.
Description[]
The Kanohi Paracelsus allowed its bearer to create and control poison and corrosives that they have knowledge of. The poison or corrosive could be solid, liquid, or gaseous, and the substance itself could be of any variety. Additionally, all three forms of the mask could create anti-venoms.
Noble: A Noble Paracelsus could only control a small amount of poison and could only create it in liquid form. It was unable to create corrosives.
Great: A Great Paracelsus could control a larger amount of poison and could create poison in any of the three primary states of matter. It was able to create and control corrosives.
Nuva: A Paracelsus Nuva was able to control a much greater amount of poison and corrosive.
A Kanohi Paracelsus was made from six weaken, four freeze, and five remove poison Kanoka disks.
Kanohi Paracelsus were considered immoral by Toa.
