Oryp is a rookie Glatorian from the Fire Tribe.

History

Like most Glatorian, Oryp was born on Spherus Magna. Though he lived through the Core War, he was too young to join the Element Lord of Fire's armies. When The Shattering occurred, he was stranded on Bara Magna. He was placed under the wings of Nyvalis and Antzo, for training in combat and for history lessons. It was during his time with the latter that he came to know Kasuki.

He was among the Glatorian to enter the Great Tournament, though he was forced to flee when the Skrall attacked. He later took part in the assault on Roxtus, and in the construction of a Mega-City. He went into hiding alongside most of the other Bara Magnans when Mata Nui reactivated the Prototype Robot. He came out when Teridax invaded the planet and fought against his legions of Rahkshi and Skakdi. He lived through the Battle of Bara Magna to see the death of the Makuta and Spherus Magna's restoration.

The Expedition

He aided in the construction of a makeshift village, using scrap collected from the defunct Great Spirit Robot. Ekumas at one point met the two of them, hoping to learn more about their world's past. He was approached by Mutul for an expedition to the Great Jungle. He agreed, and departed with the party three days later.

As of yet, none of them have returned.

Abilities and Traits

Oryp has an interest in history, a trait he shares with Ekumas and Antzo. Rumor has it that he's developed a crush on Kasuki, though this has yet to be proven. He's also close friends with Rivus, who is something of an older brother to him.

As a Spherus Magnan, he bares no extra or special powers. As such, he must rely on his own strengths. Though he is of the younger generations of Glatorian, Oryp is a capable fighter. However, while he is on par with Kasuki, he is not at the same level of experience as Rivus or Nyvalis.

Mask and Tools

As a native of Spherus Magna, he cannot use Kanohi masks. He is shown to wield a retractable blade, built into his right vambrace.
