Orlan was a Turaga of Stone who served as the elder of Lesovikk's homeland before going insane.
History[]
According to legend, Orlan was one of the first Turaga created by the Great Beings. Upon the completion of the Matoran Universe, Orlan was placed on the island of Kangaro, where he served as a leader among the Matoran inhabitants. At some point, he selected a number of Matoran from the village he oversaw to serve as Kangaro's Toa protectors, bestowing onto them Toa Stones which had been provided to him by the Great Beings. These Toa soon came together to form the Toa Cordak, the first Toa team.
While the Toa Cordak were away on a mission, battling a wandering tribe of Zyglak, Turaga Orlan went mad for inexplicable reasons and sent the entire Matoran population of Kangaro to the realm of Karzahni. When Lesovikk returned to Orlan's village, having lost his teammates to the Zyglak due to a moment of hesitation on his part, he discovered what the Turaga had done and swiftly departed from Kangaro to search for his friends, leaving Turaga Orlan to his mad babblings.
Abilities and Traits[]
Before going mad, Orlan was considered to be a wise Turaga and was held in high regard by the Matoran he looked over. After going mad however, his thoughts became illogical and borderline incomprehensible, sending the Matoran to Karzahni on a whim with little to no remorse over his actions.
Masks and Tools[]
Turaga Orlan wore a Noble Kanohi Matatu, the Mask of Telekinesis. He also carried a staff which served as his Badge of Office.
