The Kanohi Oorokau is the Mask of Insanity. It is considered an immoral mask, is very rare, and is classified as a Psionics power.
The Kanohi Oorokau allows the user to induce a temporary insanity in the target's mind. The victim of this power loses their mind either until the mask’s wearer is rendered unconscious, or until the target is.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Oorokau was one such mask, developed by a rogue Makuta who wished to steal a colleague's work.
