Ohri is a Turaga of Magnetism residing in the Astray Alternate Universe. He is currently leading an expedition, searching for the Great Beings.
History[]
Early Life[]
Like most Matoran, Ohri began his life on the planet of Spherus Magna, helping construct the Matoran Universe. Upon the completion of his task, Ohri was placed in the Northern Continent, along with other Matoran. Shortly after the launch of the Great Spirit Robot, the Fe-Matoran gained true sentience due to Velika’s tampering with the Matoran Universe.
Originally, Ohri lived in the Nui Mountains, mining ore. In his spare time, he served as the assistant to a Fe-Matoran scholar, helping to navigate and chart out the tunnels. Here, Ohri learned of various legends, instilling a desire to uncover the secrets that lay beyond his horizons. Roughly 45,000 years ago, the mountains were depleted of their ore reserves, leading the Matoran to migrate in search of greater opportunities. During this time, Ohri was given a Toa Stone and transformed into a Toa.
Protector[]
As a Toa, Ohri trained under the well-known hero Dume, and briefly served as a member of his Toa Team. However, Ohri felt aimless, and chose to leave the team, fulfilling his own wanderlust. During this time, Ohri wandered the Matoran Universe, protecting various settlements.
Roughly 1000 years ago, Ohri returned to the Northern Continent, planning on relinquishing his power and becoming a Turaga. During his travels, he visited a village along the northeast coastline, only to find it destroyed and its inhabitants killed, save for one Matoran. Upon rescuing Saetta, he learned that the village was attacked by Dark Hunters. Ohri served as her protector for a time, as the two attempted to escape from the Hunter's grasp. Ultimately, the duo were discovered; a climatic battle resulted in Ohri crippling both Hunters. During the fight, Ohri was injured badly, losing the use of his left leg.
Following this event, the two moved to a nearby village, where Ohri gave up his power, becoming a Turaga. Saetta, regarding him as a kind of family, chose to stay.
Later, the Great Spirit Robot was damaged heavily as a consequence of the Battle of Bara Magna, leading to the migration of all surviving species of the Matoran Universe, including Ohri, to Spherus Magna.
Spherus Magna[]
Upon exiting the Matoran Universe, Ohri facilitated the construction of Atero Nui, choosing to live in the megacity's water district. On a foreign planet, Ohri seeks to explore the new lands, and requested the ability to do from the new world council. Reluctantly, they allowed him to do so. Ohri begin plotting an expedition, intending to discover the last secrets left behind by the Great Beings.
After several weeks, the group arrived at the White Quartz Mountains, where the expedition split up briefly. Ohri took a handful of Matoran with him: Raeys, Jaiiko, Saetta, Arohni, Delgan, and Kavero. Shortly afterwards, this group was attacked by Vorox. Fleeing deeper into the mountains, they discovered a deceased Toa and six hidden Toa Stones. Upon touching one of the stones, the Matoran were transformed into Toa.
Upon their transformation, the new Toa were quickly discovered by the Vorox, and was forced to fight. Jaiiko, using his elemental control over Ice, caused an avalanche, quickly ending the battle. Afterwards, the rookie Toa ran from the rest of the expedition, hoping to lead the remaining Vorox away. At this time, the group was formerly dubbed as the Toa Vandern by Ohri. Raeys was designated as the leader and Ohri tasked him with ensuring the group's safety.

Abilities and Traits[]
Ohri has maintained a sense of curiosity throughout his life, intent on discovering the secrets of the world. This desire has instilled a sense of wanderlust in him, as well as an endless hunger for knowledge. As a Matoran, Ohri was quiet, rarely standing out; however, he also possessed a strong sense of justice and a positive outlook. When he was transformed into a Toa, Ohri maintained these qualities, always trying to see the best in his fellow beings. Ohri was hesitant to join any formal Toa Team, preferring to work on his own. As a Turaga, Ohri was patient and wise, but his injury and experiences made him a cautious and careful individual.
Being a Fa-Matoran, Ohri would have possessed a minuscule amount of control over the element of Magnetism. As such, he possessed a perfect internal compass, to the extent of having a better sense of direction than other Matoran. However, as a Toa, Ohri later gained the ability to control, create, and absorb magnetic energy. This granted him a wide range of abilities, such as changing the magnetic field of an area, releasing beams of magnetic energy, as well as manipulating metallic substances. Upon becoming a Turaga, these powers were reduced greatly.
Mask and Tools[]
As a Matoran, Ohri wore a powerless Akaku; when he was transformed into a Toa, he exchanged this mask for an Kanohi Iden, the Great mask of Spirit. The Iden allowed him to release his spirit from his body, which could pass through solid objects, fly at great speeds, and possess other biomechanical lifeforms. However, while in spirit form, Ohri could not interact with the physical world or use his elemental powers. Further, it left his body defenseless, and prolonged usage weakened him considerably.
Ohri's Toa Tool was the Magnetic Greathammer, which could channel his elemental powers as well as be infused with an elemental charge. The hammer was crafted in honor of his mentors, and featured a facsimile of the Kanohi Pakari on its front. When Ohri transformed into a Turaga, his Tool transformed into his Badge of Office, the Magnet Hammer.
