Nupui was the Turaga of Po-Karhi and a member of the Turaga Council of Karhi Nui.
History[]
Early Life[]
Like most of the Turaga of Karhi Nui, Nupui's early life is shrouded in mystery. However, some of the major facts have been discovered. Created as a Toa of Stone by the Order of Mata Nui, Nupui focused on missions to aid allied Toa in missions regarding precious artifacts.
On one mission, he came across Komatri hunting for a certain collection of rare masks on the island. Nupui fought Komatri, but eventually Komatri won in the end. Afterwords, Komatri and Nupui became great friends. They eventually joined with four other Toa to create the Toa Cartrax. However, after the island was overrun by Dark Hunters, he assisted Matoran to migrate over to Karhi Nui.
In Karhi Nui, he gave up his abilities to Mikeku, allowing Mikeku to become a Toa of Stone. He also helped form the Turaga Council of Karhi Nui, and created the Hall of Chronicles as a way to preserve the history of Karhi Nui. He later determined that a Po-Matoran named Fatorak would be the best choice for a Matoran Chronicler for Karhi Nui. He dressed Fatorak in special garb, and constantly watched over his progress.
He was devestated by the loss of the Hall of Chronicles after it was destroyed by Salis.
Abilities and Traits[]
Nupui is a bit strict, but also cares for Matoran. Under his watchful eyes, the territory of Po-Karhi remains safe and secure. He is also cautionary about Toa Mikeku, who happens to be a bit clumsy at times.
Nupui possesses a noble Mask of Accuracy, and a Turaga Staff of Stone. With limited access, he can use these to channel kanohi and elemental powers.

- Nupui originally wasn't going to have much significance in the Splinters Universe. However, BIONICLEToa decided it would be best for Nupui and Komatri to actually create the Toa Cartrax team, as he needed much significance in the story as possible.
- Nupui is one of the only Turaga to know more about Komatri's mysterious past.
