Nuhi was the rather cold-hearted Toa of Ice in Tagah's Toa Team.
History[]
Nuhi started out as a Matoran created by The Great Beings thousands of years ago on the island of Cartrax. He started off as a scholar, but became rather insecure about his work, and soon grew to become a selfish student.
Makuta Tagah eyed Nuhi as one of the candidates of a future potential Toa Hagah team for himself. He ran Nuhi through a test to collect three rare Kanohi across the island. Somehow Nuhi managed to collect the masks by hiring other Matoran to help him locate the masks. Tagah, though a bit disturbed by his lack of courage, realized the Matoran relied more on craftiness and found him to have potential as a Toa.
However, as the other Toa Cartrax gave their powers to their respective Matoran, Komatri didn't want to give his up to Nuhi. However he was told by Mata Nui in a vision that he had to do so. Quite reluctantly, Komatri gave his Toa-stone to the Crast-wearing Matoran.
Nuhi was soon sworn to become the protector of Cartrax's icy regions, and was eventually added into Tagah's Toa Team.
BIONICLE: Insurgence[]
As his fellow team mates, Collerak and Viatra, were trapped on top of The Mountain, Nuhi and the rest of the Toa Karhi staged a rescue attempt. They succeeded. However, Nuhi took the resting time afterwords to question the mission at hand, wondering if Fa was really worth leaving Karhi Nui and making it vulnerable. He would be scolded by Kylerak for this.
Abilities and Traits[]
Nuhi, unlike other Toa of Ice, happens to be a bit more selfish than others. He thinks mostly for himself, and when something does not go his way, he does everything he can to make sure it does.
Komatri constantly has to remind him of the three virtues. However, Nuhi always ignores this, and still applies more independence than unity with the other Toa. One can note this similarity to Kopaka, but even Kopaka is not as self-centered as Nuhi, as Kopaka still follows the Three Virtues.
Nuhi wears a Great Pakari on his face, granting him significant strength in the harsh snowy environments he is used to. He carries a great Ice Saw, which allows him to cut through hard ice like butter! Finally, he has the ability to manipulate solid ice, snow, and create temperatures below freezing with his hands.
