Nikila was a Toa of Lightning, the deputy leader of the Toa Cordak, and Lesovikk's best friend/lover.

History[]
Similar to all other Toa of Lightning, Nikila began her life on Spherus Magna as a Vo-Matoran, where she aided in the construction of the Great Spirit Robot. Upon its completion, she was placed inside the Matoran Universe, which then departed the splitting Spherus Magna.
While the island of her original residence remains unclear, it is known that she was close friends with Lesovikk and that she served as an attendant of the local Turaga for several years. Eventually, Nikila's exploits would result in her transformation into a Toa.
Shortly before the Toa Mata were awakened, Lesovikk, Nikila, and six other Toa banded together to form the Matoran Universe's first Toa Team, the Toa Cordak. Together, they protected their home island from external threats, as well as assisting the Matoran in many of their day-to-day tasks. While Lesovikk served as the team's leader overall, Nikila's tactical and strategic prowess led to her being promoted to becoming the team's lead strategist. She and Lesovikk grew to be close friends over the course of their hardships. This relationship eventually blossomed into love, and the two got engaged sometime later.
Approximately 90,000 years later however, while patrolling an area outside their homeland, the team encountered a band of Zyglak. Lesovikk hesitated to react in time, and the Zyglak slaughtered Nikila and the rest of the team using their disintegration spears. This unfortunate fate prevented her revival aboard the Red Star.
Lesovikk, distraught over his failure to protect not only his team, but also his fiancée, grieved her death for quite some time, before he returned to his village, only to found out that the Turaga had gone mad and had sent the entire Matoran population to Karzahni. He then spent 10'000 years wandering the universe, looking for his friends and trying to redeem himself.
Lesovikk still remembered Nikila over a century later, even as he joined Kuurk's Empire. He recounted a future that could've been, had Nikila and his other teammates still been alive to see it through.
