Niki was a Ta-Matoran prototype who resided in Aura-Nui in the Misplaced Alternate Universe.
Biography[]
Niki was created by the great beings after Orde's failure to calm the Zyglak and decided that all Ce-matoran would be female to see what a female's touch would do to the element Fire, making her one of the many Prototypes. She started her life on Spherus Magna, where he aided in constructing The Great Spirit Robot. After its completion, Niki moved to the island of Jemani-Nui.
Niki became a Mask Maker and supplied the populace with extra masks. She also befriended a Po-Matoran Crush who she got along well with.
Life in Jemani Nui[]
Niki befriended the Rahkshi Creatures known as Chearman, Jeb, and Sugi. after Clancer and Rahni introduced them to the matoran populace. Likewise, Kerall-Koro began trading with Jaman-Koro after being introduced to each other.
Niki was present when Toa Teliko came to Their village and gave Toa Stones to Zepharious, Bomonga, Ballium, Davian, Draybin, and Arlana. He witnessed the creation of the Toa Jemani and Toa Teliko become turaga.
When Davion killed Draybin and witnessed Bomonga and Zeparious defeat the former toa, Crush was also present. However, after Draybin's death, Crush's personality changed, becoming more irritable and bitter.
Brotherhood Invasion[]
When the Brotherhood of Makuta Invaded, Jemani-Nui was utterly overrun. Some matoran defended their home alongside Molten, some Rahkshi Creatures led by Chearman and Grez. Later on, Crush and the other survivors retreated to a new island.
Aura Nui[]
Upon arriving at the new island, Turaga Teliko named it Aura-Nui and proclaimed The Rahkshi Creatures, Molten, and Grez heroes. They formed the Protectors and were the Islands defenders due to no toa. Eventually, more beings came to the island that survived the Brotherhood's attack. Chearman was elected leader, and Sugi was made deputy.
Crush obtained a bad attitude during this time due to all he had lost and everyone but Niki couldn't seem to put up with him. So this Made Niki his only friend for a time.
Niki and Crush were hiking when they discovered a crashed boat with Four matoran inside. The pair got help and rushed them to Ga-Aura and helped them recover. The four matoran were named Ligi, Kenyak, Marz, and Lace. Niki became good friends with Lace because they both were prototypes and felt a kinship towards each other.
Four more Rahkshi Creatures were brought to Aura-Nui by Kerall. The latter were the only survivors of their villages due to the matoran and Toa of other islands mistaking them for normal Rahkshi. Their names were Tech, Nova, Agrav, and Frie. At first, the new R.C.s were skeptical about the matoran. Still, eventually, The Protectors realized they were welcome on Aura Nui.
A Toa Named Tath came to the island with a group of matoran and joined the protectors as it's only toa.
Although, years later, when Toa Orde arrived, Tath left the island to help awaken Mata-Nui.
Around this time, Tahu joined the Protectors as Turaga Gruru, and Turaga Pohatu arrived in Aura-Nui too.
Rise of the Toa Hordika[]
Tath returned with Macku and Hewkii but was infected with Hordika Venom. The Protectors tried to help the Toa, but the Venom messed with their minds and went insane. Grez was forced to fight his former friend and was severely injured before he could heal the mutated toa. Grez would have died if Tahu had not intervened. The Protectors fell back to the village and reported the incident. A ga-matoran known as Ligi and Sugi helped heal the injured Rahi and Tahu, while Chearman and the matoran prepared for the Hordika to strike again.
Newest Member[]
Due to Toa Tahu being gravely injured after saving Grez, Tahu made a Toa stone and gave it to Hawohi. The humbled Hawohi used the Toa Stone in the village Suva and became a Toa of Gravity. Hawohi then aided the Protectors in defending Aura Nui.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a matoran, Niki had a minuscule amount of control over fire. But, like other Ta-Matoran, she had excellent resistance to heat.
Like most Ta-Matoran, Niki was stubborn and hot-headed. Niki also cared for others profoundly but had a hard time showing it. However, she is extremely loyal to her friend and always has their backs.
